Hi, I'm Jaime!
I'm a youth worker and outdoor educator from New Zealand, currently living in Ireland for the next few years.
I'm a practical, hands on person, with a passion for sustainability, community engagement, experience based learning, sharing kai (food), stories, and time in nature. I love getting stuck in on projects, learning new things, and developing community spaces.
Travel for me has always been about more than just visiting tourist sites - it's about meeting people, connecting with cultures, and sharing experiences - often over a good meal!
I have worked in the volunteer sector for many years, and while I'm new to workaway, I've been volunteering in various capacities since I was about 11 years old.
I can't wait to learn more about your culture, and hopefully share some of mine in return!

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I have a wide variety of skills, and am always eager to learn more and chip in wherever it's needed.
I'm especially great at working with young people, facilitating community groups, managing events, developing written resources, and supporting adventurous activities like hiking and camping.
I'm an excellent cook, and am always looking to learn new recipies and try new foods. Good kai (food) is my favourite way of connecting with people and sharing culture!
I'm good with my hands, and have helped with various building, painting, plastering, paving, and general restoration projects, and always approach new challenges with a can do attitude and excitment to learn.
