Hello, I'm Isabella (Izzy). I am 28 years old and currently living in Yosemite National Park, USA (but originally from Maine). I recently achieved getting a visa for New Zealand and am looking to spend the months on January-April to work and travel the country.
To touch on work experience, I have work traded off and on for the past 8 years. I have worked on organic farms in California as well as Hawaii. On those farms I gained a general knowledge of maintaining various vegetable and fruit gardens (weeding, fertilizing, building garden beds, etc.). When I am not traveling, I normally work positions in the hospitality field. In Yosemite, I supervised the front desk of one of our lodging properties. I have plenty of experience working with children as well, I hope to someday perhaps pursue a career in education.
A bit about me personally, I am a very passionate, quick witted, and hard working person. Humor is something I carry with me everywhere I go, my favorite thing to do is laugh. I'm very adaptable to my surroundings, I work well with others, and I manage to keep a positive attitude in unideal situations.
I've wanted to see New Zealand ever since the Waitomo glow worm caves were mentioned in my "365 Destinations of the World" calendar. I also am an avid hiker/backpacker and would love to try out some trails in NZ.

CPR/First Aid certified. Organization. Love to clean. Communicating with others. Following directions. Weeding/harvesting/lifting things under 50 pounds/loving animals. Great with children. Positive attitude/thinking/lifestyle. Surprisingly a decent cook, love to experiment with different (always veg) dishes. Working out problems. Compromising. Appreciating little things. The occasional dad joke. Seriously, I’m amazing at loving animals.
