Hello dear hosts,
my name is Isabell and I am 27 years old. In the last few years, I did my bachelor's degree in elementary education and am now at the end of my master's degree at the University of Cologne.
Due to English being my main subject, a stay abroad is obligatory and I believe that a stay with workaway would not only help me to improve my English but also would be a beautiful life experience. I want to go abroad in the spring and summer of 2023.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Most of my professional experience has been in the social field. At the age of 16 I started working as a babysitter. After school I did a voluntary year in a daycare center, where I learned how to take care of small children. I also did several internships at schools.
I am currently studying to become a teacher and have always had student jobs along the way. These have been in the library, in after-school care, tutoring, and now in the health department in my city.
In general, I am open to any kind of help you may need in your daily life.

I am also a very tidy person so I am good at helping around the house. I like to cook very much. Since I live vegetarian, I cook with a lot with vegetables.

From home I am used to do a lot of handicrafts. Therefore, I can also help in the garden or with small repairs. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty :)

I spend most of my free time with friends, my family and our animals. I am a very sociable person but also like to spend time alone.
With my friends I like to go to the park, to concerts or do sports.
Spending time in the nature while hiking or walking is something I love to do.
But I also like to do relaxing activities like reading, yoga, playing the piano and sewing. I am always open to try new hobbies.
I love to cook and bake and would be happy to learn about traditional cooking and give you the opportunity to experience German cuisine.
