Beschreibung

Me describo como una mujer feliz, trabajadora, honesta, abierta, y cada día con menos prejuicios y más ganas de vivir en paz y armonía con mis seres queridos.
Disfruto mucho de las cosas “simples” de la vida y me emociono con detalles como una puesta de sol, animales en su hábitat o un postre delicioso.
Amo la comida, a los animales, bailar y ayudar a los demás. Soy una persona muy sensible pero que prefiere ser la roca en la que todos se apoyen; me gusta sentirme útil y me es difícil no hacer nada por un largo periodo.
Mi familia (sobretodo mi madre) y amigos siempre ocupan un lugar importante en mi día día.

Los motivos principales que rigen mi vida son
-Disfrutar “aquí y ahora” (no tenemos tiempo garantizado de existir) y aprovechar cada minuto que vivimos
-Dejar una pequeña huella para las siguientes generaciones
-Procurar un mejor lugar para vivir

Creo que es importante conocer a fondo cada aspecto de otras vidas para poder generar respeto y empatía (que tanta falta nos hace a veces como seres humanos) y eso implica muchas veces, una inmersión cultural a fondo.
De ahí mi amor por los viajes y el hambre de conocer y experimentar nuevas cosas (incluso si me dan miedo)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Hi! I’m Ilura (but everybody calls me Ilu), a Mexican theater actress, entrepreneur and recent traveler.

As an actress I’ve been working in comedy and musicals and most of the time with shows for kids.

On the other hand, a friend and I decided a couple of years ago, to start our own little business, a small pet friendly coffee place to have breakfast and relax. In this place we were running everything by ourselves, since the food and budget, until cleaning and storage (personally, my favorite part in the job was trying the food and talking with customers).
Unfortunately, due personal issues, we had to pause for a while the project, but in the next years we’ll try to re open with better things to offer. In the future, I would love to transform the little cafe into a small hostal (B&B).

After that, I took the decision to enjoy a whole year for myself (2023), to travel and improve my personal skills, so in the future I could be a better person.

I love nature, animals, food, languages and get along with people, listen to them and understand. I truly believe that a cultural immersion can change us and I’m looking for that: open my mind to different points of view and with that, be more respectful, empathetic, etc.

In matters of DIY activities, I love working with paint (walls, doors, furniture, etc) and I would love to learn more of working with wood.
I also have some experience in gardening but of course I’m open to learn so much more.

I’m not afraid of hard work, pretty much everything on the little cafeteria, was made by our own hands, including, wood work, cleaning and re building big areas, gardening (we try to harvest our own small plants and veggies) etc, and everything thanks to YouTube tutorials.

I have been traveling since March through another volunteering website (Worldpackers) and now I’m trying this one
