Currently living in a small town near Bristol UK. Current plans, start in Thailand Cambodia and then up the Vietnamese coastline. Hopefully volunteering once in each country.

Hey there, lovely to meet you! My name is Holly and I live by a 'go with the flow' and 'always keep smiling' motto. I'm 26 years old. I have a degree in media production and my employment background has been in television production and teaching in higher education at my home country, England.
I strive to keep a positive attitude and high energy with whatever I'm doing. I'm passionate about photography, if I can have a camera in my hand wherever I go, then I will. I enjoy teaching, but most importantly I enjoy learning. There is always more to learn. I would love to learn about a range of cultures and other ways of living I'am yet to explore. Including learning other languages and 'hands on' skills. I would like to learn more about looking after animals, conservation and agriculture.
I adore nature, forests, jungles and water of any kind! I love all animals, from the bugs to the big 5. Some of my favorites are butterflies, dragonflies, monkeys and even little ants. They are all fascinating.
I would like to distance myself from the 'rat race' life I have been living. I would like to help people, animals and in general, have a positive impact on the world with my actions, one step at a time. I'm ready to get to work with my first Workaway experience and I hope to meet some lovely humans soon.

I would love to learn another language. I do struggle with learning languages as I'am dyslexic. This means I can struggle with writing and spelling. However I'm very keen to push through this and learn a new language. Especially a local language to a workaway experience. To help me communicate with the local people. It feels important to be able to do this.

I have vast experience with all things media related. Photography, social media and video production.
I have worked with children and young adults, teaching media at a college.
Over the years I have worked in 'customer facing' roles and in a variety of shops.
I also have experience with healthcare. I worked with very high needs individuals in a care home for a couple of years.
I currently volunteer for the UK Charity called the RSPCA here in England. Where I help with general maintenance, gardening, weeding etc.
I'm a black belt in Shotokan karate and enjoy martial arts. I have taught people of all ages self-defence.
I would love to learn more about animals and agriculture!

I go litter picking around my community in my spare time. I really enjoy walks in new places especially forests and places near water.
I have recently started to enjoy meditating and reading. I'm currently reading books about some religions inc Buddhism and Daoism. (Although I'am not religious.) and have been reading about reiki practice.
