I'm in Bahia, Brazil now. I learn about plants - organic farming, pemaculture, agroforestry etc. But my big interest is to learn more about the master plants as well (and attend different ceremonies).

Hello everyone! 🌞

My name is Helena and I'm originally from the Czech Republic, but I definitely feel my home in Latin America. I've been enjoying a nomadic lifestyle since I finished my university of Environmental Studies 3 years ago. Now, I travel a lot as a way to my personal development and growth. I am an open minded person who loves nature, animals, ocean, and adventures. I live a healthy lifestyle and I also wish health and happiness to our entire planet. I am therefore interested in ecology, permaculture, self-sufficiency, organic farming etc. Living in balance with the ecosystem is the crucial thing which the whole world needs right now. I'm very determined, thorough and hardworking to achieve my aims.

I love art, and I've been creative and inventive person my whole life, so any hand craft and DIY is right for me as well! I like to create useful things, especially from natural materials (jewelries, decorations, furniture or even build a house). My creativity is also great in cooking vegan meals! My other hobbies are yoga, riding horses, dancing, playing music instruments, hiking, running and basically any kind of outdoor activities as I live an active lifestyle.

I love Latin America... And I'm not here just to go to some famous places like a tourist. I want to really get to know the local culture, traditions and people, learn Spanish & Portuguese, explore all the amazing places and live here. I've been always interested in the indigenous American traditions, plant medicines, ceremonies and shamanism. I'm grateful to be finally here ~ at the places where all this wisdom comes from. I like to learn about plants right from the origin.

In Latin America, I've done different kinds of volunteering so far ~ permaculture, gardening, organic farming, animal care, cooking, art projects, work in hostels etc. I have also visited many countries in Europe, so I'll be happy to share my travel experiences! 🙌

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I grew up in the countryside, so I have a lot of experiences with gardening, farming etc. I've been taking care of horses and other animals since childhood. I really love to connect with horses and riding or training them. I worked as a horse groom in a professional dressage stable in Austria.

I'm creative, inventive and manually skilled person. Any hand craft, art or DYI project are perfect for me! Including cooking.

I've helped to organize many events as being naturally a leading type of person, so I'm also good in communication, organising and working with people.
