Hola :)! We’re Cyril (33) and Heleen (30), a couple from Utrecht, the Netherlands, and we’ve been together for 11 years. We’ve left our cozy home and our sweet cat, Guus (don’t worry, he’s in good hands with a loving sitter), and said goodbye to our office jobs to travel and explore the world. We’ve been on the road since January, and we’re loving every moment! We adore nature, good food, and exploring new cultures. Meeting all the sweet animals in South America has been a highlight, and we love chatting with locals—though we’re still working on our Spanish, and if we don’t get it quite right, we’ll happily use hands and feet!
We’re both very enthusiastic, hands-on people and we are eager to give back. We’re not afraid of hard work and enjoy tackling new challenges. Whether it’s teaching, animal care, cooking, or DIY projects, nothing is too much for us! We’ve done volunteer work both in the Netherlands and through Workaway, and we know firsthand how rewarding and enriching it can be. That’s why we can't wait to add even more experiences to that list, where we can contribute, connect with the community, and deepen our understanding of the places we visit. We are exited to meet you and be part of something special!

We bring a mix of skills to the table! We both love cooking, good food, and are always surrounded by animals, which we absolutely adore. At home, we frequently look after dogs and cats, so we’re very comfortable with pets. Nature is a big passion of ours, and we’re excited to contribute to its protection—we both studied at Wageningen University, where we learned how important sustainability is. We’re also comfortable working with children—Heleen has a lot of experience babysitting. We enjoy DIY projects at home in Utrecht and love tackling new challenges. We’re eager to use our skills and enthusiasm to contribute, whether it’s cooking, caring for animals, DIY work, or working with kids. We can't wait to get involved and make a difference!

Here’s a little more about us: We love spending time outdoors, whether it’s running, hiking, or just enjoying nature. Even now and then we are trying to run a half marathon, which helps balance out our love for good food and social gatherings ;).
We’re big animal lovers and have a cat named Guus. While we’re (unfortunately) not quite ready for a dog in our current life in Utrecht, we can’t wait for the day we can have one. In the meantime, we enjoy borrowing dogs from our parents or taking neighborhood dogs on walks.
We really enjoy having people around and love making sure they feel welcome and happy. Cooking is one of our passions, and we love hosting dinners for and with friends. We also have a creative mindset and love working with our hands—whether it’s DIY projects around our home or just tackling new challenges. We’re always on the lookout for new places to eat, try new flavors, and explore!
We are eager to continue learning and growing, whether it’s discovering new cultures, meeting inspiring people, or connecting with nature. We are looking forward to gaining even more experiences and expanding our horizons in the future!
