Hi, I’m Hanna, 31 years old, from Germany.
After studying Agricultural Sciences and Horticulture / Quality Management and worked several years in Consulting, I’m currently taking a gap year and looking forward to meaningful exchanges.

I grew up with a large garden and have been surrounded by nature my whole life. Being outdoors, working with plants and soil, and producing fresh food makes me truly happy. Gardening, cooking, and sharing time with others are things I deeply enjoy.

Animals have always been an important part of my life. I grew up with chickens and cats, have a big heart for animals, and completed a three-month internship on a cattle farm, supporting daily routines and animal care. I also spent many years horse riding, which further strengthened my connection to animals and outdoor life.

I love practical, hands-on work, enjoy learning new skills, and bring a positive, reliable and caring attitude to everything I do. I’m excited to meet new people, spend time in nature, help wherever needed and hopefully find a great match for a shared and enriching experience.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I bring a broad and practical skill set with a strong focus on gardening, outdoor work and sustainability. I have hands-on experience in horticulture, including building raised beds, planting, harvesting and caring for vegetables. Through my background in environmental and climate education, I have worked with children on garden-based projects such as growing food and learning about nature in a playful and practical way.

I am very comfortable working with animals. I grew up with chickens and cats, completed a three-month internship on a cattle farm, and have experience with daily farm routines and animal care. Horse riding has also been part of my life for many years, strengthening my confidence around animals and in outdoor environments.

I enjoy cooking fresh, simple meals, supported by several years of experience working in gastronomy. In addition, I am happy to help with renovation and maintenance tasks, such as painting, small repairs and general upkeep.

Alongside practical work, I also bring strong organizational and analytical skills. Through my work in sustainability consulting, I am very comfortable working with Excel and basic bookkeeping, and I have supported agricultural and food-related businesses in developing sustainable strategies and processes.

I also have strong experience in childcare. I supported one family as a babysitter for five years, caring for two children from a very young age, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids.

Overall, I am reliable, responsible and motivated, enjoy working independently as well as in a team, and bring a warm, caring attitude to working with adults, children and animals alike

I’m an open-minded, calm and positive person who values shared time, good conversations and simple everyday moments. I enjoy living and working together respectfully, helping out where needed and being part of a team or family for a while.

I love starting the day outside, getting my hands dirty, cooking and sharing meals, and ending the evening with a relaxed conversation or a cup of tea. I’m reliable, tidy and considerate in shared spaces, and I appreciate clear communication and mutual respect.

I’m happy with simple living, enjoy slowing down, and feel most comfortable in nature-based environments. At the same time, I’m curious, reflective and always interested in learning from other people, cultures and ways of life.
