Hi!

We are a couple, 24 and 29 years old, coming from France and Slovenia. We love spending time in nature, creating different types of crafts, and meeting new people. One year ago, we met in France while grape picking. At the time, Mickael was planning to move to Martinique for work, while I had one more year of studies to finish in Florence, Italy, before heading to New Zealand for a while. Long story short, after a year of long-distance relationship, we finally have the chance to start our journey together, both as partners and as travelers. We're excited to meet new people, create new experiences, and learn something new!

A little about us: I'm Hana, a colorful personality who usually greets each day with a smile. I was a hairdresser for 10 years, which helped me save enough money to move abroad and study interior design. Besides design, I love painting, writing poetry, and animals! While studying in Florence, I did some pet-sitting on the side and now can’t imagine my life without a pet. I’d love to have a dog, but my passion for travel has made it difficult. I’m also interested in learning how to build furniture and convert vans into livable spaces—something I think complements my design background.

Mickael is a passionate climber and a person of many interests. Whatever captures his attention, he puts his heart and mind into it. His skills include carpentry, sailing, woodworking, gardening, construction work, and working at heights. A funny story: during a Workaway experience, he built a wooden pergola in just three days—and it was amazing! Like me, he loves nature and enjoys living in the moment.

To sum it up, we are a vibrant young couple, full of life and energy, exploring the world with open hearts.

We are a couple with a passion for languages and communication. Mickael has learned to speak English well within the past year, and he's also interested in teaching French. As for myself, I have a love for languages and can speak five! While I'm not fluent in all of them, I can get by. I’m able to teach English and Slovene, and I’m eager to improve my Spanish and Italian. Additionally, I'm excited to learn French and continue expanding my language skills.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am skilled in art and crafts, bringing creativity and passion to everything I make. I have a a deep love for animals and experience with pet-sitting, making me excellent at caring for them. I am also great with kids, enjoy teaching, and have a talent for sharing her knowledge. With a background in interior design, I combine my artistic eye with practical skills, and I also enjoy photography, capturing beauty through the lens.

Mickael excels in gardening, knowing how to cultivate and care for plants. He’s highly skilled in working at heights, making him comfortable and efficient in challenging environments. Carpentry is another strength of his, as he's built various structures with precision. Additionally, Mickael has a keen interest in photography, using it as a way to document the world around him.

Was noch ...

I bought a harmonica a year ago and was also gifted a ukulele, both of which I’d love to learn better. I haven’t started much with the harmonica yet, but I completed six years of music school playing the flute, so I have a foundation to build on. Additionally, I love gathering around food!

Mickael loves to sail, as he used to live on a sailboat with two friends. They eventually sold it after a dangerous experience with 5-meter waves, which scared the others and limited their chances to sail more.

We’re both interested in learning more about working with clay and wood and would love to explore building vans, as it aligns with our passion for creativity and craftsmanship.
