Beschreibung
Hello, we’re Gwen and Dan; a couple in our early twenties living in the Lake District. We have both been working in Youth Hostels for the past 3 years and are now really looking forward to our next adventure in Australia.
Gwen ~
I have been lucky enough to call the Lake District my home for most of my adult life. Being able to live and work so close to the best mountains in the country has inspired my love of fell running, walking and wild swimming.
The hostel and its wider local community are really important to me which inspired me to progress up to management but I also put a lot of energy into my creative and personal pursuits.
Dan ~
I work part time in the hostel with Gwen, as well as working as a recovery coach for people struggling with addiction in the local area. I’m also an avid photographer and love getting out swimming, running and hiking with Gwen. I’m incredibly excited to go on this adventure with her and explore and learn as much as possible along the way.

Was noch ...
We are looking forward to having a break from full time work in order to pursue some of our other hobbies! These include (but are not limited to) reading, photography, music, art and design, yoga and we also play chess if you fancy a game?
We are also excited to learn more about the history and culture of Tasmania.
