Hi !

We are a couple of French engineering students planning to do a 6-month gap year in New Zealand from February 2024. Our aim is to visit and discover the culture of this charming country through the various opportunities provided by Workaway.

My girlfriend's name is Justine, and she's accommodating, altruistic and sociable. She's currently studying town and country planning and is very involved in environmental issues. What's more, she loves doing sports and handicrafts.

My name is Guillaume, I'm 22 and passionate about acoustics. I'm sporty and curious, and I love discovering new cultures and exchanging ideas about them. I'm open-minded and ready to meet new people.

We are versatile and will adapt quickly to the different tasks required by the host.
This trip will also be an opportunity for us to improve our level of English, which is far from perfect at the moment but more than sufficient to communicate.
We look forward to meeting new people and sharing part of their daily lives!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Justine has done seasonal work (cleaning, service, a multi-skilled worker in the industry, etc.), and has already baby-sitted after her cousins several times. She is also a climate fresco animator.
As for me, I've already done some fairly physical seasonal work as an order picker or in the catering industry. I also handmade 3 different wooden stereo speaker systems for domestic use.
We also have many other human and scientific/practical qualities relating to our background in the engineering sector.
