I live in Boise, Idaho in the United States and will be returning back to France for a university course during the month of June. I am hoping to stay in France to work from July through August!

Hello! Bonjour!
I am an American currently studying French, Art and Education in Canada and absolutely love language learning, cross cultural connections and being relational and intentional with people. I have had the privilege of hosting others with my family and have experienced being hosted and am always delighted about the conversations and connections that I can create with others in hearing about their culture, traditions and backgrounds.

As a native English speaker, I have received training and gained experience teaching elementary and middle school students in a classroom setting. I feel confident creating engaging lessons that incorporate games, arts and crafts, reading and writing activities, as well as conversational and grammar-based learning. While I am continuing to study French at university, and will be taking a course in Normandy this summer, I hope to continue to learn and progress conversationally and grammatically in the language. I truly enjoy meeting French speakers and having the opportunity to converse in the language. One of my long-term goals is to teach French to students in North America upon university completion.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Teaching English:
I have previous experience teaching English to elementary and middle school students at an École Primaire and Collège in France. Through this, I’ve developed a strong understanding of how to engage language learners by incorporating songs, creative hands-on projects, interactive games, and conversational activities that build confidence and make learning enjoyable.

Child Care:
I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and older students, whether that involves focused help with schoolwork, reading together, playing games indoors and outdoors, or going on fun outings around town. My experience includes caring for children in private family settings, supervising classes during religious services, and working as a summer camp counselor at an outdoor children’s play camp.

Customer Service & Hospitality:
Through my work as a barista, I’ve learned the importance of attention to detail and creating a warm, welcoming environment for customers. I’ve also worked as a coordinator supporting host families as they navigate hosting international high school students, which strengthened my communication skills and ability to support people in new and dynamic situations.

Gardening and Animal Care:
I have experience with weeding and maintaining flowers, gardens, and produce, and I truly enjoy spending time outdoors. I especially love working with animals (particularly horses) and am very comfortable with tasks such as cleaning stalls, grooming, riding, and general care.
