WORKAWAYER 1:
Hi I’m Georgina a 19 (almost 20) year old from the UK looking for an opportunity to increase my animal care experience and improve my skills in hopes of joining the RSPCA in the future. I’ve grown up with a dog and a cat and always volunteered to look after friends/family’s pets when needed. I’ve also always rescued distressed birds and animals from our garden or local woods.
I’m very artistic and love to draw/ play the drums in my spare time. At the moment I spend a lot of time working with children and babysitting which I really enjoy. However, my heart is always with animals, and this is definitely the direction I want to take in my working life. I hope Workaway will give me the experience I need to become an animal welfare officer in the future.
I’m friendly, patient and absolute devoted to animals of all kinds. I really can’t wait to find my ideal Workaway placement :-)

WORKAWAYER 2:
Hello! My name is Isabella (Bella), 19 years old). I’m passionate about working with animals, especially horses and dogs which I’ve had most my experience with. I'm looking to further my experience with horses as that's where my passion lies for my future. I’ve been riding English style for 9 years, during which I gained extensive experience volunteering on different yards in the past and learnt the basics of horse care, including grooming, feeding, mucking out, and general barn maintenance. This also includes working with the horses and understanding available physical exercises I can do with them. My experience with horses has taught me responsibility, patience, and the importance of understanding each animal’s unique needs.
In addition to my work with horses, I’ve run my own dog-sitting and dog-walking business. I’ve cared for a variety of dog breeds of all ages and temperaments, including some with disabilities, providing personalized care to meet their specific needs. I have also worked in hospitality which ensures me to be able to work with others well. Other interests of mine would be art, film and books!
