Hi there,

I'm a 29 y/o British female seeking adventure! I enjoy being in nature, writing and socialising. I'd consider myself an outgoing person although, I do enjoy time alone too.

I've been living in Australia but am now travelling in Kenya, Tanzania and Malawi.

I lived in Sierra Leone from the ages of 11 - 15 and would love to revisit West and East Africa. It's been on my heart for a long while now and an opportunity has just opened up for me.

I have worked as a film producer in Sydney but I'm looking to gain experience as a filmmaker and to utilise my degree is Sociology. I'm passionate about people and learning about society and it's structures, as well as writing for the screen and how the two are interconnected. I have a diploma in journalism and am interested in researching and recording places and people unknown to me.

I'm keen to learn! I don't mind getting stuck in with regenerative farming projects, teaching/education and community initiatives.

I'd love to generate ideas for charity funding in rural communities.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

A BA Hons in Sociology and Film & TV studies - I've worked on a few small film & TV sets in my local area. I'm also a keen writer and have a Diploma in Freelance Journalism

My employment over the years have included events, catering and hospitality, supervisory roles working with children and as a workplace co-ordinator for Network Rail. My role included general management of staff, maintenance and administration.

I've also had the pleasure of being welcomed into a community of lovely refugees as a volunteer. I taught English at a beginners level and socialised with people of all backgrounds.

I love cooking and keeping a very (almost too) tidy house, much to my housemates' dismay.
My dad is a keen carpenter, I spent a lot of time in his workshop as a kid so I hope some of those skills rubbed off on me. I enjoy DIY and fixing things.

I like creative projects like macrame, painting, and writing. I also enjoy photographing people in new places.

I enjoy running and anything outdoor! I'm a keen gameboard enthusiast and I never travel to a new hostel without my trusty pack of cards.
