Hello,
my name is Timo and I am very interested in ways of sustainable living.
After travelling for half a year and doing workaway in morocco and on the canary Islands, I went on a Bike trip from germany to morocco in 2024.
Right now I am working as a freelancing social worker in Portugal.
I like nature, animals, children and communities striving for a better way of living life in peace. I am hoping to find places where some or maybe all of those things are valued.
I also love animals of all kind, I am sometimes very fascinated by wild animals and I grew up with big dogs and puppies so I also love dogs very much. I sometimes take care of dogs for friends and helped out in an animal shelter.
I also love garden work and I am curious about permaculture and agroforestry. I have had some nice experience in gardening in Morocco and in Portugal.
In my free time I love to do different sports and would like to do more surfing, I really appreciate places with an opportunity to go surfing🤙
I have some Yoga Experience and a little bit of Thai Yoga Massage but it is a bit dormant at the time.
I would like to have a daily yoga practice again. I also value meditation practice and philosophy.
I am vegan, so I appreciate places that are vegan or make a vegan diet possible for me.

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I think I am quite fit in general because I have an active lifestyle and sometimes physical demanding work to do.
I am also used to work outside under different conditions. I have some basic understanding of taking care of animals because of my farm work and I also can work with groups of school-aged Children. I also worked as a social worker with Children and youth. Furthermore I have some experience in climbing-related work.
I like to work with animals but only rescued animals if possible.
On Gran Canaria I was volunteering in an art hostel for two months.
I have some experience in garden work but I am not an expert, I had a small vegetable garden with some friends for two years and have done some gardening on Tenerife. In Morocco I was gardnening for 2 months and I have a little garden here in Portugal. I am also interested in eco-building but have no real experience there.
I also have some basic knowledge about repairing bicycles, I can cook a variety of vegan dishes and can work with a computer.
Otherwise I am friendly and eager to learn new things. Especially handcraft and meditation practices.
I could teach german and english on a basic level.
