Hello !

I'm Florestine, I'm 27 years old and worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 4 years. Extremely curious by nature, I am thirsty for new adventures and already have lots of projects just waiting to be realized!
Here is a non-exhaustive list :
- Hike on the paths of Compostela
- Go in a converted van to the seaside
- Go to New Zealand for a year by the time I turn 30
- Discover the agricultural environment and French regions via woofing
- Travel the world by backpack to discover new cultures, new experiences and new human encounters
- ...

A fan of board games, traveling, hiking, I also spend a good part of my free time with my friends (and their horses), my dog ​​or even cooking ! Sportswoman, I occasionally practice pilates, horse riding and triathlon.

I want to get involved in projects that are close to my heart and closer to my personal values. I was lucky to grow up in the countryside surrounded by animals, farms and my parents' vegetable garden. At the end of 2023, I spent 3 months as a volunteer in an equestrian center in France for people with autism. I missed this daily contact with nature and animals. In addition, my experiences in woofing (sheep farming, cheese making, salt marshes, making artisanal ice cream, bakery, turkey farming, etc.) have aroused my curiosity and aroused the desire to discover new domains : what if I didn't limit myself only to the agricultural world ?!

With great surprises, a new vocation is never far away !

Moi c'est Florestine, j'ai 27 ans et ai travaillé dans l'industrie pharmaceutique pendant 4 ans. De nature extrêmement curieuse, j'ai soif de nouvelles aventures et ai déjà plein de projets qui n'attendent que d'être réalisés !
En voici une liste non exhaustive :
- Randonner sur les chemins de Compostelle
- Partir en van aménagé au bord de mer
- Partir un an en Nouvelle-Zélande d'ici mes 30 ans
- Découvrir le milieu agricole et les régions françaises via le woofing
- Parcourir le monde en sac à dos à la découverte de nouvelles cultures, nouvelles expériences et nouvelles rencontres humaines
- ...

Adepte de jeux de société, de voyages, de randonnées, je passe également une bonne partie de mon temps libre avec mes amis (et leurs chevaux), mon chien ou encore à cuisiner ! Sportive, je pratique occasionnellement le pilate, l'équitation et le triathlon.

Je souhaite m'engager dans des projets me tenant à cœur et plus proches de mes valeurs personnelles. J'ai eu la chance de grandir à la campagne entourée d'animaux, de fermes et du jardin potager de mes parents. Fin 2023, j'ai passé 3 mois en tant que bénévole dans un centre équestre en France pour personnes atteintes d'autisme. Ce contact quotidien avec la nature et les animaux m'avait manqué. De plus, mes expériences en woofing (élevage de moutons, fromagerie, marais salants, fabrication de glaces artisanales, boulangerie, élevage de volaille..) ont attisé ma curiosité et suscité l'envie de découvrir de nouveaux domaines : et si je ne me limitais pas qu'au milieu agricole ?!

Avec de belles surprises, une nouvelle vocation n'est jamais bien loin !

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Here is a (probably non-exhaustive) list of skills acquired:

- DIY: repair of pasture fences, installation and removal of mobile fences, consolidation and repair of gates, handling of all kinds of tools (drill/screwdriver, hammer, saw, etc.), painting

- Gardening: weeding, transplanting, planting, harvesting, use of various tools (mower, lawn tractor, spade, strimmer, etc.)

- Animals: comfortable with dogs, cats, horses, sheep, cows, chickens
Care given to sheep: identify lame sheep, catch them with a shepherd's staff, cut off excessively long feet, administer the necessary medications (antifungal, dewormer, external antiparasitic, antibiotic)
Dogsitting and house sitting during owners' vacations

- Children: many years of babysitting and helping with homework

- Languages ​​spoken: fluent French (possibility of teaching French), intermediate English, basics in German (practiced for 7 years but not spoken for 10 years)

- Maintenance of a house/gîte: welcoming guests, cleaning, replacing household linen (towels, sheets)

- Telescopic handler (Manitou) and tractor driving

- Pharmaceutical industry: I have been an engineer then a manager, I have a sense of responsibility. I am a versatile, dynamic, smiling, educational and organized young woman.

It's not easy to summarize all the skills acquired durant these years of life!!
To conclude this little paragraph, I would add being resourceful and very motivated to do and learn new things!

Voici une liste (probablement non exhaustive) des compétences acquises :

- Bricolage : réparation de clôtures pour pâturage, pose et retrait de clôtures mobiles, consolidation et réparation de portails, manipulation d'outils en tout genre (perceuse/visseuse, marteau, scie...), peinture

- Jardinage : désherbage, repiquage, plantation, récolte, utilisation de divers outils (tondeuse, tracteur tondeuse, bêche, rotofil...)

- Animaux : à l'aise avec les chiens, chats, chevaux, moutons, vaches, poules
Soins prodigués aux moutons : repérer les moutons boiteux, les attraper avec un bâton de berger, couper les pieds trop longs, administrer les médicaments nécessaires (antifongique, vermifuge, antiparasite externe, antibiotique)
Dogsitting et gardiennage de maisons pendant les vacances des propriétaires

- Enfants : nombreuses années de babysitting et d'aide aux devoirs

- Langues parlées : français courant (possibilité d'enseigner le français), anglais intermédiaire, bases en allemand (pratiqué pendant 7 ans mais non parlé depuis 10 ans)

- Entretien d'une maison/d'un gîte : accueil des clients, ménage, remplacement du linge de maison (serviettes de toilette, draps)

- Conduite de tracteurs et de Manitou

- Industrie pharmaceutique : ayant été ingénieure puis manager, j'ai le sens des responsabilités. Je suis une jeune femme polyvalente, dynamique, souriante, pédagogue et organisée.

Pas évident de résumer toutes les compétences acquises durant ces quelques années d'existence !!
Pour conclure ce petit paragraphe, j'ajouterais être débrouillarde et très motivée pour faire et apprendre de nouvelles choses !
