Hi there, we are Fiona🇨🇭and Alex 🇨🇷
ABOUT FIONA:
I'm 21 years old and I used to work as a travel agent in Switzerland. I live with my family close to Zurich and I am the youngest of three daughters. We had pets our whole life (cat, dog, hamster, horse) and I enjoy being around animals all the time.
I like spending time with my family and friends. I'm an open-minded spirit, who loves to meet new people. I'm a creative person and I have a big passion for animals. Plus I'm a vegetarian.
We meet during my (Fiona) first workaway experience in August 2023.
ABOUT ALEX:
I'm Alexandro, you can call me Alex. I'm turning 19 on October 22nd. I grew up in the south of Costa Rica, in a rural town with a small European community(mostly Italian based) named San Vito de Coto Brus. I'm a very passionate about learning new things in many different areas, this makes me courious, open-minded and talkative. I'm also an economics student since Juanuary 2023(currently a digital nomad). I love getting to know new cultures, ways of thinking, ideologies and etc...(of course with respect as a main principal). I love plants and animals... Nature in general>City and I also enjoy having nice conversations about whatever topics that show up as I'm talking with someone. 🍃🌳🏝️Since I'm Costa Rican, Pura Vida is a part of me!!🤗✌🏻🇨🇷
One year later we decided to travel together and hopefully build a lot of beautiful friendships :)

Fiona - general skills:
Sine I grew up with a cat and dog, I'm used to being around animals. Also I did horesbackriding for 8 years. Besides my love for animals, I like spending time with children. I have some experience with Babysitting. I would also consider myself as a decent cook and passionate baker. Plus I love to paint do arts and crafts :)

The work that we have to do is very chill and it allows you to do other things on the side when reception is quiet. Having a private room was a big plus, and the variety of the meals is really delicious.
