Hello my names Ferdia and I'm from Ireland. Hoping to get submerged into a different culture and enjoy life in a sunnier part of the world. Interests include food, coffee, wellness and the outdoors

Hello, my names Ferdia, I'm from Cork, Ireland and I am currently searching for my first workaway adventure!

What brings me the most happiness in life is good company, great food and even greater adventure. I'm looking to get stuck in to a new culture, meeting new people and learning some new practical skills. I love to spend as much time as possible outdoors - exercising/ with friends/ exploring & swimming in the ocean.

I would love to become more self sufficient and learn more about life in the countryside. I love to cook and discover new recipes, it would be great to cook with more veg produced on the farm. I'm currently living just outside the city, so the idea of a change to a rural setting sounds great (and relaxing). Also a big fan of animals

I have done a reasonable amount of travelling (but still loooads to do) I've interrailed around Europe and have been lucky enough to live in Thailand for a summer.

As a person, I am enthusiastic, open minded, social and hardworking

My main reasoning for wanting to work away is to build some new skills, make some new friends and have some amazing experiences

Was könntest du arbeiten?

The areas I'd love to get into would be working on farm - horticulture/working with animals. I would also like to work on some building projects, I have some experience in woodwork. What I lack in experience, I promise I can make up for in willingness to learn! I enjoy manual labour and am definitely not afraid to get my hands dirty

I have studied food business in college so I have a love and passion for all things food. If it is a food business you have, I would love to help the business grow through marketing and computers - blogs, social media etc.
