Hello, I'm Faith!
I am 21 years old. I am, and likely will always be, learning who I am and how I want to live. I find there is beauty in the learning. I believe there is always more to learn, and different perspectives to consider. My curiosity is my favorite thing about myself and it shapes the person I am. It fuels my love of travel, and has lead me to so many unique people, places, and experiences I am eternally grateful for.

I love animals of all sorts, and happily welcome opportunities to spend time with and care for them. I share my home with two wonderful dogs and a very mischievous little cat, I have experience caring for both species as well as some limited experience with horses. I have a strong interest in agriculture and sustainability, particularly aquaponics and food forests. I hope to one day volunteer on a working farm or homestead and learn more about farming life and techniques. I am also extremely interested in helping out at workaways working on construction or renovation projects. I am familiar with some very basic building skills, but I want to learn more and get experience working on large projects. I'm intrigued by cob and other natural construction methods most of all.

Other than that, I adore reading, music, and languages. Communication is an art, one that fascinates and inspires me. I am always happy to discuss these subjects. I also enjoy helping others with English, my own language, with people, and would be delighted to learn more of others languages as well.

I haven't yet found a language I don't have any interest in learning! With that said, I'm particularly interested in French and Japanese. I also would be more than happy to help others with their English, I have loved helping my non-fluent friends with questions and struggles they encounter.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have a lot of experience caring for dogs, including basic grooming and administering medications, and I have cared for other animals, primarily cats and birds. I've also worked with horses several times in the past, though I would describe my abilities to be pretty basic. I'm very comfortable with animals of all sorts.

I've been involved in quite a lot of house repairs and basic remodels. I enjoy painting, and I've also helped with things like floor replacements, installing trim, and basic structural repairs. I'm comfortable working in gardens and outdoor spaces, most of my experience has been with flower gardens and household yards. I also love cleaning, especially washing dishes.

I create art as a hobby, primarily lettering and sketching, though I also have some (fairly limited) experience with a few painting and printmaking mediums. I've also played flute for most of my life, although due to a long break I'd describe my skills as.... rusty.

I haven't had much experience teaching English, but I would be more than happy to practice with anyone interested in learning and answering any questions I can! I also like to organize, anything from family parties to paperwork to kitchen cupboards!

Was noch ...

I have played flute for most of my life, and though I've let my skill slip over the past few years, I still enjoy playing! I can also play a tiny bit of guitar, and I love to sing (mostly in groups) I really enjoy playing card games and board games, (I actually collect playing cards!) I especially speed and word games. I would absolutely adore having new friends to play games with!
