Hi! I'm Faye, for as long as I can remember its been my dream to travel all over the world. I love to learn and try new things, even when they scare me, and I think learning about other places, cultures, and lifestyles is one of the most important things you can do in your life. Living inside self-made box is no fun, and the best way to learn about the world is to experience it! I adore animals of all sorts, at home I have two dogs and one very small, very friendly cat, who are as important to me as my human family.

I love to spend time outdoors, especially near water (the ocean, rivers, ponds, lakes, puddles.... you name it. Even being out in the rain!) I love to swim, but even being close to water lifts my spirits! I'm very open to learning new skills, and I specifically want to learn more about things like sailing, gardening, music, other languages. I find experiencing new situations interesting and enjoy variety, so I would love to participate in workaways with all sorts of living environments, from calm and quiet farms to lively cities!

I haven't yet found a language I don't have any interest in learning! With that said, I'm particularly interested in French, Arabic, and Korean. I'm a native English speaker, and I would be interested in teaching it to others, though I don't have any teaching experience.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have a lot of experience caring for dogs, including basic grooming, and I have cared for other animals, primarily cats and birds. I've also worked with horses several times in the past, though I would describe my abilities to be pretty basic. I'm very comfortable with them and other large animals.

I've been involved in quite a lot of house repairs and basic remodels, and have a good level of experience painting and using some household tools. I've also helped with things like floor replacements and installing trim. I'm comfortable working in gardens and outdoor spaces, most of my experience has been with flower gardens and household yards.

I create art as a hobby, primarily drawing and hand lettering, though I also have some (fairly limited) experience with a few painting and printmaking mediums. I haven't had any experience teaching English, but I would be more than happy to practice with anyone interested in learning and answering any questions I can! I also like to organize, anything from family parties to paperwork to kitchen cupboards!

Was noch ...

I played flute for most of my life, and though I stopped playing for a few years, I'm now back to playing fairly well! I can also play a bit of guitar, and I love to sing (mostly in groups) I really enjoy playing card games and board games, especially word games and number games (like rummikub) I would absolutely adore having new friends to play games with!
