Hi there,

We’re David and Evelyn who started exploring the world in 2023. Passion is our best guide, which has led us to several countries and wide variety of jobs so far. While we enjoy farming, constructing and teaching, we enjoy meeting people and exchanging different faiths of life even more. There were some unforgettable memories and some relationships we still cherish and stay connected. Therefore, we’re looking forward to meeting you and the exciting journey ahead.

As mentioned, farming is one of the jobs we enjoy a lot, spending time with the land, watching them growing and cooking and enjoying the proudly fresh produce together. If you are keen to Asian cuisine, David is not a bad cook, and Evelyn enjoys making some dumplings. Most importantly, we love sharing our home recipe. Besides, we also have experience in building, not professional but with some basic skills. So far, our achievement includes constructing a sewage system and the wooden framework of a new house.

Moreover, we absolutely love accompanying kids, and pets BTW! We were both elementary school teachers in our hometown, Taiwan. Evelyn experts in teaching English while David was a general teacher but with special passion for English too. Both of us are currently taking TESOL online courses to make our teaching even more interesting and interactive.

Lastly, in our free time, we enjoy hiking, camping, reading and of course, traveling. Sport is David’s special thing. He has spent more than 10Y expertizing in basketball but loves trying all kinds of sports. On the other hand, history always makes Evelyn thrilled. If there’s a chance to show us around the neighborhood, that would be her dream come true!

We come from Taiwan and we are native Mandarin speakers.We have learned English for more than 20 years, and Evelyn was an English teacher in the primary school and the orphanage (7-12 years old) in Taiwan for about 2 years. David was a general teacher in the primary school, and his English is fluent, too (ILETS score 7.0)! Evelyn is now teaching English online and both of us are studying TESOL online to keep learning the skills of teaching! Willing to teach English to the children or even adults! :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We have over 10 years experience in being a “children care “ volunteer, and both of us also work as a human resource specialist for 2 years.

We are very good at taking care of kids and teaching them some knowledge and attitude from life. Also, we always put ourselves in other people’s shoes and think about their needs. And both of us have a lot of experience in holding events(such as speeches, lessons and markets etc).

Besides, because my family own a chicken farm, I also have the experience of feeding the chickens and cleaning the farm. And David’s family owns a lovely organic farm, he is good at weeding and gardening! We enjoy the life in nature and would like to explore more in the world! :)

We love traveling without planning because we love to explore and enjoy everything that we see or meet. And during our free time, we love to read the books about history and travel.
