Hello!

My name is Emma and I love travel, languages, the outdoors, meeting new people, and learning about the world! I am from Canada originally but currently living in London.

I have lived abroad for few years now and I love meeting people from different backgrounds and sharing conversations and experiences. I am open-minded, curious, and love learning about new places and cultures. I speak English and French (fluently) and am currently learning Spanish (intermediate) and German (beginner). I love practicing languages with others - I think it is one of the best ways of learning!

My hobbies mostly revolve around the outdoors - I enjoy hiking, skiing, and climbing. I would love to spend some time somewhere warm to do more swimming, snorkeling, surfing, and diving.

I love kids and animals, and am keen to help out in any way I can. I would be happy to learn gardening, basic consturction/DIY, or other new skills. I am curious about different farming techniques such as permaculture, and I am hoping to work outside as much as possible!

I am reliable, open-minded, quick to learn new skills, and have a positive atittude. I would be happy to work with you! :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Manual Labour: when I worked as a ski patroller at a ski hill I had to perform quite a lot of manual labour (lifting, dragging, etc) and setting up signs, fences, and other temporary infrastructure.

Construction: I can do basic skills like painting, sanding, and using manual tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, etc).

Teaching: I have experience tutoring (French, Science, and Math) and volunteering at conversational English classes.

First aid: I have a high level of first aid training and have worked and volunteered in first aid for several years. I also taught Wilderness First Aid for one year.

General/misc: retail, guiding (tourism), minor repairs/maitenance to bikes, childcare/babysitting
