Aslan is travelling to England in February📍

Beschreibung

Hello everyone!

We are two siblings (Emma, 27 y/o and Aslan 19 y/o), who loves to travel and experience different cultures and meet new people.

We have traveled together many times before, for example via interrail, and are now looking to expand our horizon by joining the Workaway community!

Emma recently finished University with a Masters degree in English and Nordic litterature, culture and linguistics, and Aslan recently finished highschool at HF-Imagine in Thy, Denmark, which specialized in enviromental studies and climate activism.

With both our educations reaching their end we decided we now wanted to take a gap year and travel together!

We are very passionate about animals, and grew up with both dogs and cats at home. We would love to learn more than what we already know about care for these lovely beings.

Lastly we are very open and creative people. Emma loves to draw and paint, and has also illustrated several children's books for a Danish publisher. Aslan loves working with people and has done volunteer work several times before, for example by helping arrange local festivals and events focussing on climate change.

We look forward to the Workaway adventures ahead!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Emma has a Masters degree in English and Nordic litterature, culture and linguistics - so in terms of language exchange these skillsets fit right in!

Before her degree she has had various jobs, like being a waiter at a restaurant, working as a customer service agent, working as an editor for a publishing house, working freelance as an illustrator, and also working with kids in a kindergarden.

Aslan has worked as a dog walker, bartender, cashier at a local supermarket, kindergarden teacher, waiter and as a gymnastics teacher for kids at the local gymnastics organisation.

All around a varied skillset from the both of us, and you can count on that we are responsible, eager to learn and hard working :D

Was noch ...

We are both adement readers and would love any book recommendations from the people we meet! Especially if they can recommend some local must-reads from their country.

Emma plays some guitar and loves to sing, and Aslan plays piano and a little guitar also. We would love to start some cozy jam-sessions around a campfire with the people we meet!

Knitting and sewing is also one of Emma's great interests, and mending/upcycling or teaching others these skills is something she would love to help with.

Otherwise we both love to go for walks in beautiful nature and are curious to learn new skills.
