Beschreibung

Hey! My name is Elena, I'm 23 years old and I'm from Spain. I consider myself to be an open-minded, adventurous and cheerful person. I'm always seeking to learn new things and make new connections!

After spending a year studying abroad in Montana in 2021, I found that traveling, learning about other ways of living, and meeting new people make me the happiest. So after finishing my degree in Environmental Biology, I decided to continue on my adventure, traveling over Europe, volunteering, and visiting new and exciting places. I've met the most amazing individuals on this journey, and I have no plans to stop anytime soon!

My next big move is going back to Montana to visit some friends next year (2024), but prior to that I'd love to take some time to explore, work, and volunteer around the country. So now I'm in the process of planning the next steps to get there! I am mainly interested in projects that will allow me to meet new people and learn new skills, preferably in a location surrounded by natural landscapes. I am usually not a fan of big cities for long-term stays. I'd rather wake up to the sound of birds and rustling leaves than car honks. But apart from that, I'm quite open to most opportunities, from sustainable projects, hospitality, handiwork... whichever it is, I will always give my best and add some positive energy!

Although I am usually a social and outgoing person, I am also very comfortable being by myself (and sometimes it is so necessary!). I'm a strong believer in living sustainably and showing respect for the environment, all its inhabitants, and basically for our home (the earth). 🌿

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have experience with animal care due to my time volunteering at animal sanctuaries in Spain and the US. I'm also familiar with the basics of gardening, as I spent a semester in college doing an internship on permaculture and sustainable agriculture. I have also worked in hospitality and childcare.
