Hi my name is Dorothea, I'm a student at the university of applied science in Landshut, a small town near Munich. I'm currently studying new media and intercultural communication - that's also the reason why I joined as a workawayer: to learn about new countries and cultures - and there is no better possibility to do so than by living with local people and getting to know the culture by first hand, right? ;) I'm a very open and kind person, loving to learn from people from other cultures and thus making new friends! At first I may seem a little introverted, but as soon as I warm up to people I easily take them in my heart!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Besides attending university, I work in the gastronomy and service and therefore love to meet and talk to new people. I'm also a tutor of a girl in fourth grade and easily connect with children. At home my parents have a small farm, as well as a small family hotel - so for me, working and helping out wherever I can is naturally and something my parents have put a lot of effort into!
By the way I love animals of any kind :)

Was noch ...

I love painting and drawing; this is something I have done since I'm a little child. I also love to do outdoor activities such as going for walks, hiking and skiing. I also love music. I myself play a bit of piano even though I'm a little out of practice ;)
