Hello dear friends!

I'm Diego, 30 years old, and I'm a professional mountain guide as well as a business administration technician. Currently, I reside in Mendoza, Argentina, an incredible place nestled next to the majestic Andes mountain range, where I pursue my career. My greatest passion is nature; I love discovering new places, meeting people, enjoying different cuisines, and immersing myself in new cultures.

Over the past few years, I've had the opportunity to travel to various countries such as Nepal, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, Peru, Bolivia, Europe, among others. These experiences have taught me how to relate to and adapt to different environments and people.

During my trip to New Zealand in 2018, I had two unforgettable experiences with Workaway. In the first one, I worked on a Permaculture project in Nelson alongside Zack. In the second, I had the joy of taking care of Scarlett, a beautiful 8-month-old baby, and helping with household chores. Both were enriching and rewarding experiences.

I consider myself proactive, positive, supportive, and independent. I enjoy traveling, listening to music, practicing sports like ice and rock climbing, running, windsurfing, and cycling. I also love sharing mate with friends and am passionate about cinema and theater.

During my high school years, I attended a technical school where I learned to carry out carpentry, welding, and especially electrical work. Additionally, I perform well in tasks related to gardening and cooking.

I'll tell you a bit more about my profession. As I mentioned, I am an International Mountain Guide (U.I.M.L.A) and a Business Administration Technician. During the summer months, I work on Aconcagua, the highest mountain in America (6960.8 meters), leading summit ascents with mountain enthusiasts from around the world.
