Beschreibung
Howdy there! 😃 My name is Diana Ogutu, a 24 year old Kenyan 🇰🇪. I'm an open-minded, adventurous, sociable, active, and enthusiastic young lady. I like to wake up very early in the morning, meditate and plan out my day's activities. I like to do morning/evening walks and have several hobbies that keep me active during the day. I'm an avid reader (my favorite books are memoirs and biographies, with my current read being "Unbroken" by Laura Hillenbrand). I do write articles and I'm currently running a blog where I document all my travel experiences ( you can take a peek at dianaogutu52@wordpress.com). I do acrylic painting and play the Ukelele as well.
I'm always enthusiastic to take up new projects and hobbies, I find it so fulfilling whenever I pick up a new skill. I have been doing alot of travelling lately, with my last trip being a solo backpacking trip to Uganda( first time backpacking btw). As I was doing my research on other backpackers, that's when I stumbled on workaway, and boy was I excited to see a community of people who share similar interests as me.
Some of the skills I can offer are Gardening- when I was growing up, my parents had a huge farm so I'd often help around on the farm, Housekeeping- I love to cook and clean and would like to share some of my recipes, Art- painting is one of my hobbies and I also take on DIY projects once in a while, Teaching- I once taught Mathematics at a primary school in my home town Nakuru. I am open to learning new skills and I can say I catch on to things pretty fast. I have volunteered at an orphanage and as a social media volunteer too. Now that I have taken a break from my banking career, I'm more than eager to get myself out there to volunteer and see what lies ahead in this great community. Feel free to write to me if you think I'll be a good fit for the project you have in mind. Can't wait to meet all you amazing people, cheerio!Interessengebiete
