We are currently in Ireland looking to go away for a few months to work and/or volunteer.

Beschreibung

Hello! We are Denis and Amy from Ireland. We have just finished studying/working and are so excited to spend the next few months travelling. We love travelling together, making new friends and learning new skills from others. We’re really looking forward to connecting with locals and experiencing life as you live it!

Deonisas (Denis): I am an outgoing and enthusiastic person who has been living away from home for 10 years. I currently live in Ireland and I've been working full time and travelling as much as possible every year. I have visited many countries and cities, learnt a lot about different cultures and their natural environments and History. Every new place I visit, I make sure to try as much meals as possible since I'm a food lover. Whenever I'm away I feel free and I am always looking for something new to do everywhere I go. I have a passion for animals, I have done work experience in the vet clinic before, I was also a scout so I have some survival skills too. I have experience in carpentry, waitering and bartending.
Along with everything I have enormous passion for music of every genre and every instrument, especially guitar since I used to play acoustic and record people playing. I love to share music with people and learn to play an instrument.
I'm a dog lover and I have a dog of my own that always brings me joy :)

Amy: I am a very kind hearted, empathetic person. I have a passion for exercise and self improvement. I just recently finished my studies and now am a qualified Special Needs Assistant. I have experience in retail work and childcare (work placement and taking care of children in my family) while also doing some baking on the side! I enjoy cooking and reading. I love the outdoors and adventuring, it brings me such a feeling of peace. I try to go on as many hikes/scenic walks as I can in my spare time. I am also very interested in anything fitness related. I love going to the gym, practicing yoga, pilates and walking. Just like Denis mentioned, I also have a passion for music. I practiced guitar for a few years and still try up with it sometimes. I listen to anything and everything! My music taste is very diverse. I also love caring for animals, I have had many pets throughout my life and currently have two dogs that I adore. To relax at the end of the day I love sitting down with a good book or movie.

In our previous workaway experience we were doing gardening tasks ( a lot of weeding mostly and Denis done some strimming), painting, sanding, DIY projects and even some baking which we really enjoyed!

We are so excited to continue our workaway journey and meet new people and share some knowledge and laughter.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I (Denis) am good at fixing various things around the house, I used to help my grandma in her garden planting plants, picking weeds out etc. I have always helped my family with computers, I'm good when it comes to technology and handy work. I have excellent communication and people skills, I have a lot of experience working in hospitality as a waiter and bartender.
I (Amy) am a very organised, I am very good at cleaning and organising. I am very great with kids, I am always looking after my niece and nephew while their parents work and also have done work placement at a preschool. I also am good with technology and computers I have a lot of knowledge about social media and some video editing skills. I have baking skills and ran my own at home baking business.
We both have basic gardening skills (weeding etc) and painting skills.

Was noch ...

Denis enjoys playing basketball with friends on weekends and enjoys working out. We love to go for long walks together with our dogs and visit beaches for the scenery. Amy loves spending time with family and friends (and animals of course), being outdoors and seeing new places.
We are very easy going people and are eager to go travelling again.
