Hello wanderers! My name is Aleksandra which means Defender of Man.
I live in a small town in central Europe. It’s my hometown – and it feels like a home in my heart. I work from a yellow house on the edge of a forest, making a living by creating art. Yet the most important thing is that I write. I write and write and I write a lot. I am pretty sure I was born to tell stories so I travel to learn and make my stories true and real in the process.
There is no day without a cup of hot black coffee. After all – life’s too short to not enjoy little things. I wake up early to make the most of the day. I like staying occupied and embracing all the things, ways of thinking, and cultural differences I can lay my hands on. Then I spend some time writing in solitude – changing experiences into stories.
I have a lot of energy when it comes to outdoor work. I enjoy taking my mind off writing while doing some physical work. I can maintain fences and chop wood (I love chopping wood). I used to work with horses –I still, remember the basics 😉 I am capable of doing any job if shown how to do it.
I am a simple life cold beer country music kind of girl. I have no problems with hunting, mud in my hair, or a day of hard work. I am perfectly capable of throwing saddles on horses all day long (for three months straight – checked). Then again I feel a deep connection with my inner self – doing yoga and learning from old tales. I am a believer - big time. I agree with my name numerology which says I have an excellent sense of taste and color. I am agreeable and easygoing. I don’t tolerate a stagnant lifestyle and need to take on adventures to maintain happiness. It doesn’t mean I am fearless – only that I can do many things going by hand with my fears.
For now, I am left with a pure wonder for this world just as it is.

I am very much interested in learning old languages - maybe even those dying out. Especially the indigenous languages of the Americas. I am also in great need of learning Spanish. I used to take Spanish lessons but I don't remember much (ok, anything).

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am greatly capable of dealing with people. I used to work at the ranch during summers taking care of B&B reservations and guests. I made breakfasts and always had a smile on my face.
I started giving horse riding lessons at the age of 14. I am pretty good at it, especially when it comes to tourists. I know how to talk to them telling them about horses and explaining the basics of riding. Making them feel comfortable around horses and just letting them have fun.
I discovered I am capable of painting walls and putting up fences when I had to do it for my parents. Therefore, I guess I can do any physical work if shown how. Also, I have a great sense of decorating. I have my driving license and a film school diploma! (Not a famous film school though).
I write a lot but note that writers are those for who writing is the hardest. I can help with school papers or social media but it’s rewriting that makes novels good. Still - it comes easy for me to come up with some catchy phrase to write under posts or wooden signs.
I am a huge enthusiast of outdoor work. I wish I could learn to build houses one day (and maybe how to fix old Chevy trucks). Also, I need to extend my knowledge of planting. I helped my sister with setting up her garden, seeding vegetables, and planting trees but I know there is so much more that I could learn.
The old stories and legends are the source of great wisdom for me. I would love to learn some stories from the past.
