I'm from Canada and I will be travelling parts of Asia and Europe over the coming months. I'm in my late 20's and I enjoy getting to know the countries I travel to on a local level. Workaway has helped me broaden my experiences and knowledge of other cultures and also make a difference in peoples lives. I'm passionate about people, the environment and overall wellness. I hope to impact those I meet while travelling and also learn from them. I look forward to connecting!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

With a background in Hospitality and HR, I've developed strong customer service and people skills. I've also recently completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training Course, and I'm now a certified teacher.

In Canada I work as a Recruiter, I like to think this is because I have a thing for connecting people and understanding individuals on a deeper level.

I have a good ability to adapt to changing environments and new situations. In life I've often worked two jobs, one being my career and the other usually in hospitality. Sometimes though I've gone for some pretty out of the box jobs (like a short stint in a nut butter factory, lol). But what can I say, I enjoy new situations and learning things.

I also grew up on a farm and have a passion for sustainability and the environment. These traits have brought me to volunteer on many farms in the past, and also peaked my interest in permaculture and gardening.

Overall, I can bring a positive attitude to new situations, I have good working knowledge of hotel/restaurant service, I can teach yoga and I'd love to continue learning more about the permaculture and sustainable living.

I've recently quite my corporate job and I'm seeking new opportunities in the sustainability realm - would love to hear about others stories and how they go to where they are.

In addition to the things above, I love hiking, cooking delicious/nutritional meals, and getting the body moving :D
