Hi there!

My name is Damian, a 33-year-old with both Dutch and Australian citizenship, living between Amsterdam and Barcelona. I’ll be traveling through South-East Asia and Australia until the end of March 2025, and I’m eager to give back through volunteering.

I’m a creative, free-spirited person who loves learning from people with different cultures, lifestyles, and beliefs. I live a yogi, vegan lifestyle and aim to live mindfully in everything I do.

While traveling, I’m excited to connect with locals, help where I can, and share experiences with others who hold similar values. I’m passionate about exploring new adventures and learning along the way.

I work as a freelance translator and studied branding at fashion academy, so I have experience in creative writing, concept development, styling, photoshoots, and graphic design, among other skills.

Yoga is an important part of my life and in 2017 I completed a 200-hour Teacher Training Course in India. While I don’t teach professionally, I love practicing and discussing yoga with others.

I’d be thrilled to contribute my skills and energy wherever I can and look forward to the opportunity to connect and collaborate.

- My graduation project centered on creating a minimalist and meaningful lifestyle—if you need assistance decluttering your space, I’d love to be your minimalism coach!
- I hold a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate.
- I’m confident in the (vegetarian/vegan) kitchen and love experimenting with new recipes.
- I’m great with animals and children, and always happy to help out in these areas.
- If you're looking to learn Dutch, I’m fluent in both speaking and writing.
