Beschreibung

After living in coastal regional NSW (Australia) for a couple of decades, it was time for us to take a break to spend time in nature. Juan and I are travelling in a van with our dog Zali and are keen to explore this beautiful country.
In my work life, I've had the great fortune to be able to pursue things that have meaning for me: community, health, spirituality and the protection of our beautiful planet. I'm a yoga teacher, an entrepreneur, a lover of nature and the arts. I love exploring life through travel, reading, deep conversations, reflection, stillness. I'm passionate about growing food and living sustainably but unfortunately I had to downsize my garden to one pot of lettuce while we are on the road.
Juan is an artist and works as a freelance gallery technician. He occasionally also works as a house-painter. Juan expresses his creativity mostly through photography, and creative building projects, such as fitting out our van these days but he hopes that this time out will give him opportunity to pursue art in other ways again. He loves cooking for others, so if we get to meet you, he'll no doubt share some delicious food with you.
We look forward to an abundance of interesting encounters and beautiful places and experiences in our travels.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We love gardening and have created a small urban vegetable and native garden at our home in Port Macquarie. We're both practical, hands-on people who are keen to learn and happy to help with anything that needs doing. Juan is pretty handy with tools and can build stuff (without having professional carpentry skills), he also used to work as a house painter. Denis has been teaching yoga for over 20 years and has worked in project and event management and community development.
