We are two friends, Camilla and Alice and we are excited to write to you to express our strong motivation to embark on a volunteering experience through your platform. We have an innate passion for discovery and change, and we firmly believe that the world has so much to offer. We want to embrace new cultures, challenge ourselves, and live more authentically and sustainably, driven by curiosity and a desire for personal growth.
For a long time, we’ve dreamed of embarking on a journey that not only allows us to explore hidden and fascinating corners of the world but also challenges us to grow beyond our everyday lives.
We’ve chosen Workaway because it gives us the opportunity to do this consciously, by contributing to the communities that will welcome us. We don’t want to be mere tourists but travellers, we want to actively give back, learn, grow, and be part of the positive transformation of our planet.
Our greatest motivation comes from our commitment to a green and sustainable lifestyle. We feel fulfilled every time we can be part of initiatives that protect the earth, wildlife, and people.
On a personal level, we are both artistic and creative individuals, with a deep passion for visual arts, music and writing. Music, in particular, is one of our greatest passions, and it fills us with immense joy as we both sing and write music.
Moreover, we draw energy from our love for outdoor sports. Hiking, practicing yoga, immersing ourselves in nature. This is also true for our love for animals and children, who teach us simplicity and purity.
As vegetarians and increasingly drawn to veganism, we view our diet as a conscious and meaningful choice, a way to respect life and the environment around us. We’re always eager to learn more, explore new dishes and recipes.
Another key aspect of our lives is our spirituality. We are constantly striving to live in harmony with ourselves, others, and the world around us by exploring practices that help us become more mindful and serene. Meditation, inner reflection, and the path of spiritual growth are essential tools for living authentically.
All of this motivates us to embark on the journey Workaway offers. Sharing our enthusiasm, creativity, love for nature, sports, animals, and spirituality fills us with a sense of purpose. We are ready to learn, grow, and contribute all our energy and positivity to projects that allow us to make a difference in the world.
