Somos Cristina and Felipe, amigos y compañeros viajeros. Somos apasionados por la naturaleza, montaña, escalada, huerta, permacultura y el trabajo de la tierra, el ayudar y cooperar con otros.
Beschreibung
We are Cristina and Felipe, a couple and fellow travelers, passionate about nature, mountains, climbing, gardening and working the land, helping and cooperating with others, meeting people and enjoying the simple things in life. We are both Chileans, we work as forestry brigades in the extreme south of Chile, in Puerto Natales and Torres del Paine. We are currently in Canada. Felipe has a Work Permit for 1 year, arriving in Edmonton in June 2024 and Cristina arrived in August to the same city in search of getting to know new places and learning the English language.

Sobre nosotros:
Cris: De profesión soy Contador Auditor. Durante pandemia decidí hacer un cambio en mi vida, y me dedique a viajar en bicicleta por Chile, fueron mas de 2.000 kms. Durante este viaje hice distintos tipos de voluntariados. Los voluntariados fueron en huertas organicas, bioconstruccion, permacultura, arreglo de cabañas , desmalezar terrenos, mucama, trabajo en compost y recepcion de hostal.
Felipe: Cuento con conocimientos de construcción trabajando un largo tiempo en esta area. Llegué a Canadá hace 3 meses, trabajé en Edmonton durante este tiempo y durante algunos meses quiero priorizar aprender bien inglés y poder ayudar en algun voluntariado, intercambiar conocimientos y conocer.
Nos sentimos comodos trabajando en equipo, y ayudando a los demas, ademas de poder aprender y compartir conocimientos. Durante los meses de agosto y septiembre participamos en un voluntariado de EMCD de huertas urbanas ubicado en Edmonton.
Tenemos conocimientos de montañismo basico, montañismo invernal, primeros auxilios en lugares agrestes, curso de diseño en permacultura y bioconstrucción y el curso C110 de incendios forestales.
About us:
Cris: By profession I am an Auditor Accountant. During the pandemic I decided to make a change in my life, and I dedicated myself to traveling by bicycle through Chile. It was more than 2,000 km. During this trip I did different types of volunteering. I volunteered in organic gardens, bioconstruction, permaculture, cabin repair, weeding gardens, maid service, compost work and hostel reception.
Felipe: I have worked in construction for a long time. I arrived in Canada 3 months ago, I worked in Edmonton during this time and now for a few months I would like to prioritize learning English and being able to help with some volunteer work, exchanging knowledge and geting to know new people.
We feel comfortable working as a team, and helping others, in addition to being able to learn and share knowledge. During the months of August and September we participated in an EMCD urban garden volunteer program located in Edmonton. We have knowledge of basic mountaineering, winter mountaineering, first aid in the wilderness, a permaculture and bioconstruction design course and the C110 forest fire course.
