Hello!

I just graduated from Colorado State University in the United States where I earned my BA in Political Science and BS in Conservation Biology, with a minor in Entomology. As I study to begin law school in 2025, I am taking some time to reconnect with my favorite things - nature and new experiences!

I have worked as a 'workawayer' at a few locations throughout South America, cleaning in a hostel in San Pedro de Atacama, Chile, living and playing with 2 lovely children in a home outside of Santiago, Chile, and working reception at another hostel in Banos de Agua Santa, Ecuador. WorkAway has presented some amazing opportunities, and I wish I had discovered it sooner, when I was traveling in Europe and backpacking in the US in years prior.

Though I now live in the mountains of Colorado, I am originally from the plains of Kansas, in the US, where I have work experience in animal husbandry, educational outreach, and childcare.

Before beginning school in 2020, I took time to explore the world. Traveling internationally, as well as backpacking within the US. In fact, I finished the Pacific Crest Trail, a 2,650 mile (4265 Km) hiking route from Mexico to Canada along the West coast of the US in 2019! Now, I am excited to learn and explore, and am ready for new adventures again.

- I am experienced in husbandry for a wide array of animals.
- I have worked with educational outreach as a tour guide in Costa Rica, school presentations about arthropods through Colorado State University, and hosted birthday parties and community presentations about many species of animals within the pet trade through Pet World Experience, in Lawrence, Kansas.
- I studied Spanish for 3 years in High School, and continued by education personally through international travels.
- I am comfortable cleaning, cooking, and doing physical labor.
- I have worked in child care for nearly 8 years, as a babysitter, camp counsellor, and presenter.
