Hello ! I am Claire, a 22-year-old French traveler ready for an authentic adventure in Japan!

I am a complete nature lover, adventure enthusiast, and have been passionate about Japan since I was little. Originally from the south of France i've been in Japan for 7 months now. Those months have allowed me to dive into Japanese culture and way of living, which I really love. I also hope to improve my Japanese and connect with people !

After 3 years studying architecture, I decided to take a break to find the things that truely matters for me. I’m passionate about music, art, animals, and different cultures. Though I can be a bit shy, I love listening to people, discovering their stories, and learning from them. I enjoy helping out, trying new things, and taking on challenges, whether it’s in construction, agriculture, or hospitality. Since arriving in Japan, I’ve worked for 3 months as a dishwasher in a restaurant. And spent 2 months as a volunter in Kagawa's countryside. I participated in various projects, mostly in woodworking and renovation, farming and working in rice fields. I’m curious, open-minded, and always ready to try new activities.

As a couple, we bring a diverse set of skills and experiences to the table, and we’re eager to share them while learning new ones! We are both fluent in French and English, and we’d be happy to teach either language or help with basic communication. We’re also working on improving our Japanese, so we can communicate at a beginner level and are excited to practice more with locals.

I’m Claire, and with my background in architecture (3 years of studies), I have a good eye for design, spatial organization, and creative problem-solving. I’m comfortable with hands-on tasks like drawing, building, or gardening, and I love getting involved in practical projects. Since arriving in Japan, I’ve worked for 3 months as a dishwasher in a restaurant, so I’m familiar with kitchen work and cleaning. I’m adaptable, quick to learn, and always ready to try new things, whether it’s farming, construction, or hospitality.

Louis, my partner, is an entrepreneur and data scientist, which makes him great at problem-solving, planning, and working efficiently. He’s very tech-savvy and can help with anything related to computers, data, or basic programming if needed. He’s also in good physical shape and enjoys manual labor, so he’s ready to assist with physically demanding tasks like construction, farming, or outdoor work. Louis is sociable and helpful, always happy to lend a hand and bring a positive attitude to any project.

We’re not afraid to get our hands dirty, and we’re excited to contribute to your projects while learning about Japanese culture, nature, and traditional ways of working. Whether it’s helping in the kitchen, working in the fields, or assisting with creative tasks, we’re ready to give our best and share our enthusiasm!

French :

En tant que couple, nous apportons un ensemble varié de compétences et d’expériences, et nous sommes impatients de les partager tout en apprenant de nouvelles choses ! Nous parlons couramment le français et l’anglais, et nous serions ravis d’enseigner l’une ou l’autre de ces langues ou d’aider avec la communication de base. Nous travaillons également à améliorer notre japonais : nous pouvons communiquer à un niveau débutant et sommes enthousiastes à l’idée de pratiquer davantage avec les locaux.

Je suis Claire, et avec mon parcours en architecture (3 ans d’études), j’ai un bon sens du design, de l’organisation spatiale et de la résolution créative de problèmes. Je suis à l’aise avec des tâches manuelles comme le dessin, la construction ou le jardinage, et j’adore m’impliquer dans des projets pratiques. Je m’adapte rapidement, j’apprends vite, et je suis toujours prête à essayer de nouvelles choses, que ce soit dans l’agriculture, la construction ou l’hospitalité.

Louis, mon partenaire, est entrepreneur et data scientist, ce qui le rend excellent pour résoudre des problèmes, planifier et travailler de manière efficace. Il est très compétent en technologie et peut aider avec tout ce qui concerne les ordinateurs, les données ou la programmation de base si nécessaire. Il est également en bonne condition physique et apprécie le travail manuel, donc il est prêt à aider dans des tâches physiquement exigeantes comme la construction, l’agriculture ou les travaux en extérieur. Louis est sociable et serviable, toujours prêt à donner un coup de main et à apporter une attitude positive à n’importe quel projet.

Nous n’avons pas peur de nous salir les mains, et nous sommes enthousiastes à l’idée de contribuer à vos projets tout en découvrant la culture japonaise, la nature et les méthodes de travail traditionnelles. Que ce soit pour aider en cuisine, travailler dans les champs ou participer à des tâches créatives, nous sommes prêts à donner le meilleur de nous-mêmes et à partager notre enthousiasme !

Was noch ...

We love discovering nature and often go for walks near temples, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. We’re interested in good Japanese cuisine and occasionally try local dishes. With our car, we can easily travel to explore new places. We enjoy the calm of the countryside and love sharing moments with others through conversations or a good meal.

Nous aimons découvrir la nature et nous promener près des temples, profitant de l’atmosphère paisible. Nous sommes intéressés par la bonne cuisine japonaise et essayons de temps en temps des plats locaux. Avec notre voiture, nous pouvons facilement explorer de nouveaux endroits. Nous apprécions le calme des campagnes et aimons partager des moments avec les autres à travers des conversations ou un bon repas.
