Hi, I'm Charlotte, a 23 years old girl from Belgium and I've just finished my engineering studies. I love travelling, being in nature and discovering new places, so I decided to do a gap year to travel after my studies. I'm an active person, I do sports regularly (I do Shinson Hapkido at home) and I love music. I like many things, from partying with my friends to quiet activities like reading or game nights. I am an adventurous, uncomplicated and reliable person who can quickly get excited about many different things and who loves to try out new things. I'm looking forward to meeting people from all over the world and to discovering new countries and cultures! I moved out when I was 18 and lived in a shared flat with three other students for five years, so I am used to living with others.
I've tried to travel as much as possible during the last years. Last summer, I went camping and did a roadtrip through Sweden and Norway with some friends, and I fell in love with Scandinavia. That's why I decided to start my gap year in Norway, in order to be able to explore more of this beautiful country!

I am German speaking, but I studied at a French-speaking university, so my French is also very good. I am fluent in English as well and had some classes in English at university too. I'm looking forward to improving my English and learning new languages! And if you like, I can also teach you some German or French.

I have just finished my master's degree in civil engineering in September 2023 and decided to take a year to travel now. I am a logical person and my studies at university have taught me to work in teams, to communicate efficiently and to work hard to achieve my goals. I am an quite independant person and very motivated to learn new skills. I can speak three languages (German, French and English) which could certainly also be very helpful in some situations.

I have a little brother and little cousins, so I have a bit of experience with children. During the summer holidays I had various student jobs, I have already worked as a technical draughtsman and in a secretariat. I am motivated, I work precisely and I can easily adapt to new environments. I do sports regularly, so I am in a good physical shape and not afraid of hard work. I am quite creative and good at photography.
