Hi!
My name is Caroline I'm from Cork in the south of Ireland. I am new to workaway and I am hoping to travel firstly to France to immerse myself in the culture and improve my level of French. I would also love to learn Spanish as I only have a few words.
I LOVE to travel, experience new cultures and meet new people. I am happiest when I'm outdoors and love to go walking, running, hiking, kayaking, cycling, you name it! I am passionate about the environment and I am very mindful of nature and all animals.
I love working with young children (I am studying to become a teacher) and I have experience minding young children and coordinating children's camps. I also spent two wonderful summers in Spain teaching English to children aged 4-12.
Some of my other interests include socialising with my friends, cooking healthy food, practicing yoga, listening to music, watching movies, and exercising.

Je m'appelle Caroline et je viens de Cork dans le sud de l'Irlande. Ce sera ma première expérience avec workaway et j'espère d'abord voyager en France pour m'immerger dans la culture et améliorer mon niveau de français. J'aimerais aussi apprendre l'espagnol
J'AIME voyager, découvrir de nouvelles cultures et rencontrer de nouvelles personnes. Je suis la plus heureuse dans la nature et j'aime marcher, courir, faire des randonnées, du kayak, du vélo, etc. Je suis passionnée par l'environnement et je suis très attentive à la nature et à tous les animaux.
J'aime travailler avec de jeunes enfants (j'étudie pour être enseignante) et j'ai de l'expérience dans la garde de jeunes enfants et dans la coordination de camps pour enfants. J'ai également passé deux étés merveilleux en Espagne à enseigner l'anglais à des enfants âgés de 4 à 12 ans.
Certains de mes autres intérêts incluent socialiser avec mes amis, cuisiner des repas sains, pratiquer le yoga, écouter de la musique, regarder des films et faire de l'exercice.

I currently work as a manager in a large store and I am also studying for my degree to become a teacher.
I have a great deal of experience caring for children from the ages 0-8. This summer I coordinated several camps for young children and teenagers in my university. I also taught English in a language immersion camp in Spain for two summers.
I also love working with animals. I completed a course in animal care and husbandry and volunteered with a local animal shelter for a number of months.
I am very hands on around the house and enjoy doing DIY, gardening, cleaning, and cooking.
I am a native English speaker, intermediate level French and beginners Spanish.

Je travaille comme gérante dans un grand magasin et j'étudie également pour mon diplôme pour devenir professeur.
J'ai beaucoup d'expérience dans la garde d'enfants de 0 à 8 ans. J'ai également enseigné l'anglais dans un camp linguistique en Espagne pendant deux étés.
J'aime aussi travailler avec les animaux. J'ai suivi un cours sur les soins et l'élevage des animaux et j'ai fait du bénévolat auprès d'un refuge pour animaux pendant plusieurs mois.
J'aime faire du bricolage, du jardinage, du nettoyage et de la cuisine.
Je suis de langue maternelle anglaise, français de niveau intermédiaire et espagnol débutant.
