Hello! I’m Carlos, a passionate young traveler eager to explore new cultures, meet wonderful people, and contribute positively wherever I go. With a background in, I bring a wealth of experience and a strong work ethic to every opportunity.

Why I’m on Workaway:

I believe that the best way to truly experience a place is to immerse myself in the local culture and community. Workaway offers the perfect platform to do this while giving back and learning new skills.

Skills and Experience:

Professional Skills: carpenters apprentice 6 months and hospitality work for 2 years
Languages: I am a native English speaker from the United states
Personal Skills: I’m adaptable, hardworking, and always eager to learn and a TEFL certificate . I’m comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Hobbies: In my free time, I enjoy hiking, archery and west coast swing which I’m happy to share with hosts.
What I Can Offer:

I’m versatile and willing to help with a variety of tasks, from gardening to hospitality work to getting my hands dirty. I’m dedicated to making a positive impact and ensuring that my hosts have a pleasant experience with me.

Travel Plans and Availability:
Updated December 2024: I plan on continuing work for now to build up skills to be a better worker and one day I will be a full time traveler with knowledge in Teaching English and Video editing

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am a dedicated hard worker that has spent 400 hours serving my community with soup kitchens, food drives, yard cleaning, and other humanitarian activities.
Along with a TEFL course I'm able to teach EnglIish
I also have 2 years of hospitality work in restaurants and have done 6 months of construction as an apprentice, so I know how to handle guests but also roll up my sleeves and do the gritty work when needed.
