Hello!

Our names are Rae (she/her) and Bex (they/them), thank you for clicking on our profile! We are two creatives currently looking to explore the world and work as we travel. Rae is from the USA and Bex is from the UK- but we have both just finished full time jobs in Seoul, South Korea and are looking to spend some time going with the flow a bit more. We both have a variety of experiences in our professional backgrounds from our long training in the arts to managerial roles, renovation work and much more. We are fast learners who love a challenge and are excited to get our hands dirty.

A little bit more information about us. We are a couple and will be looking for workaways that are LGBTQIA+ friendly and accepting. We have been together for almost 3 years and we met in Seoul. We are gentle and kind individuals whose passions lie in creativity and connecting with people and nature. We value understanding and talking to others, as well as learning about the culture of the places we visit. We are excited to bring our vast skill set to wherever we go and to add some new skills to our toolkit! ✨️

Was könntest du arbeiten?

As a couple, and individually, we have lived colorful professional and personal lives. We lead with our passion to form genuine connections with people and bring positivity to everyday life.

Bex has experience in curating creative workshops and working in events, alongside managerial roles in hospitality which has made them adaptable and a brilliant problem solver. They have worked in a hostel whilst traveling, where they tended to guests, organized group meals and socials. Additionally, they have experience at a rural restaurant in Sweden where they learnt how to sew, take care of dogs, and renovate a house amongst other practical and creative skills. Also, they are trained in Fine Art so they add flair and beauty to everything they do, as well as making a mean cup of coffee!

Rae has experience with farm work where she painted fences, learned basic carpentry skills and completed manual labor tasks. She also did a Workaway at a chestnut farm in Korea when she harvested walnuts as part of a team. Whilst training in Theatre, Rae was introduced to a breadth of technical skills including operating power tools and operating a pulley to fly set pieces in/out. She has worked many odd jobs through the years and thus enjoys- and is confident in- picking up new skills.

We can't wait to see what skills we can learn and share with you!

Was noch ...

We love the arts and especially to share them! So Rae can sing you a song or two, or Bex could even draw you! We are aiming towards a self-sustained life and are really excited to pick up some of those skills while we see the world. We are really interested in the wealth of knowledge these experiences can provide for us, be it practical, emotional or spiritual - we are down to learn!
