Meet your next volunteers, Tema and Dylan !

We are a young multicultural couple (French-American and French-Moroccan), deeply passionate about meeting people from all over the world and making meaningful connections.

What we love the most is being able to take our time while traveling, seeking immersion in new environments rather checking boxes. We find that it enables us to truly discover different ways of life and share new experiences with people.

Although we are travelling as a couple, we strive to engage with strangers, remain independent, open-minded and easygoing.

Tema (29) has had two enriching teaching experiences with Workaway, in Vietnam and Bulgaria, with both adults and children. She is very passionate about teaching, especially languages, while not shying away from manual and creative work. Tema can also greatly contribute to any administrative and hospitality related tasks.

Dylan (36) is a real outdoors person who loves to be immersed in nature, especially through activities such as kitesurf, rock climbing and skiing. Having worked many small jobs, especially is hopsitality, he is highly adaptable and hands on. While not being a proper skipper, he has extensive nautical experience, having been on and around boats since his childhood. Dylan is also passionate about teaching and has had experiences as a tutor in university and as chess teacher for children.

We are hopeful that we can provide meaningful contributions to different communities along the way while enjoying the thrills of travelling together.
Our core values include multiculturalism, tolerance and self-growth, which we believe are essential ingredients for a successful Workaway experience.

We are excited to commit to your projects and learn from you.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Our skills come with a deep willingness to be useful and learn from our hosts.

Teaching :
Tema has an extensive teaching experience and is currently pursuing a teaching carreer.
She has worked with kids, teenagers, or adults, in several countries.
She is comfortable teaching languages or facilitating classes where we learn about culture / a specific subject.
She also has experience with managing group projects and coaching teams.
Dylan has been a private tutor / teaching assistant and has taught chess to first graders as part time jobs in university.


Business Administration :
We both have a Master's degree in Management and are currently working as a Management and Organization consultant. This means we can help with various tasks if you're running a business. We can carry out HR, accounting, or marketing tasks, as well as benchmarks and business plans if you're developing a new project.
Just ask and I'll find a way to be useful !
Tema was also the president of a non-profit organization for 1 year.
Dylan has been involved with a renewable energy startup for the past 8 years, as a boardmember and investor.

Hospitality :
Dylan has had several experiences in Hospitality, working as a bartender or waiter, and Tema has also experiences similar jobs when she was a student. Our language fluency (French/English/Spanish) will be an asset for communicating with your clients and providing the best service.
We are both very warm people who always have a smile on so we will be more than happy to have a role in the management of your hostel.

Sailing :
Dylan learned how to walk on a sailboat and has had many experiences on various types of yachts. He holds the French costal marine permit.

Manual work :
I may not have had the most experience in this one, but I did experience two weeks of leading Boys & Girl Scouts (in France). We build our own dining table, oven, tents ... Most importantly, I like to focus on a task that requires my concentration and effort, I believe it takes the mind off other worries. Where there's a will there's a way ... so don't hesitate to propose to me the tasks where you think I'll be needed

Writing :
Tema's personal hobbie which she has been practicing forever.



The bottom line is we are sure we'll be able to figure out with you how we can best help within your project !
