Hi!

We are Felix and Rebekka, from the Alps of Northern Italy. We are two nature loving people and interessted in deep diving into the culture and atmosphere of a place. Currently we are living a dream of ours, travelling with our bicycles across Eurasia, crossing deserts, mountains and jungles. :)

Coming both from farming families we love working with plants and animals and every work outdoors brings us great joy. Also: Both of us have experience working with children. Bekki was a schoolteacher and Felix volunteering as a youth-guide in the alpine club.

Being cycle travellers it's hard to plan exact dates many weeks in advance. Maybe we are faster than expected and arrive sooner , maybe we are slower. ;)

We are both language enthusiasts. Bekki is a professional interpretef (German, Italian, English & Spanish; all fluently). She also worked as a language teacher in elementary school and gave private lessons to teens and adults. Felix is more interested in the cultural and theoretical aspect of languages, often learning the basics of some language just for fun.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We both come from farmer families and are used to working on a farm, with plants and animals.

Felix is a volunteer youth-guide in the alpine club and has experience in managing groups of children and organising activities. Also, Felix is a biologist and has some knowledge in identifying plants and animals (less so in tropical regions ;) )

Bekki is an interpreter, speaks 4 languages fluently (German, Italian, English, Spanish) and also has experience as a school teacher for children of ages 5 to 16.

Both of us have a long experience in working in gastronomy, mostly by 1-3 month summer jobs during our study-years. So we have experience in working with guests and making everyone feel welcome. Many of these jobs also were on remote alpine mountain huts, with little internet connection and often without a real shower. So we are used to not having these luxuries of modern society and can cope fine without them. ;)

Was noch ...

We obviously like cycling and have some knowledge in repairing and maintaining bikes ;)

Also, since we worked in remote alpine huts and we like to travel to remote areas and sleep outside most of the time we are quite ok with having limited electricity, internet, warm water etc.

Otherwise we are very curious and open minded and love to learn new things.
