Tätigkeiten, die mich interessieren:

I'm looking to stay on a ranch and learn day to day life. I'm happy to fix, garden, clean, cook, just generally get involved. If I had the opportunity to learn about horses that would be the dream.

Beschreibung

Over the years I have been lucky enough to do a lot of travelling, living and working in different countries. I love visiting new places, learning about new cultures and traditions along side picking up new skills from these experiences.

Whilst I currently work an office job (for a snow sports holiday company) I am very much an outdoor person. Whether it's snowboarding or hiking up a mountain, a day relaxing or swimming at the beach or a walk with through the woods or fields with friends I am without a doubt at my happiest when I'm outside enjoying everything nature has to give.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I worked in the hospitality industry for over 12 years in various roles such as a chambermaid, bar staff, waitress, reception, catering/kitchens so I am well used to hard work, long hours and physical (sometimes grimy) work. I'm not afraid of getting my hands dirty, getting stuck into a task and working away until the job is complete. I'm a very practical person and am very good at problem solving and logistics. I'm a quick learner too.

I currently work remotely as a sales manager for a ski holiday company. Whilst I work a lot with targets and reports etc it's also very much people skills role, caring for clients and team members, encouraging the teams development within the company and in turn helping the company to grow. I am big on a kind approach to sales, listening to the client and helping them find their perfect trip. Team work is crucial here - personally I dislike the cold hard sales and dog eat dog world. I find the personal and caring approach spreads a better environment for both staff and customers alike.

I am very much a people person. I like being around others, getting to know them, looking after people and helping out where I can. I consider myself to be a kind, considerate and hard working individual.

I have done a lot of dog/cat sitting in recent years for friends and family. I love being around them and getting to know their individual personalities. You just can't beat a lovely long walk in the country or a cuddles on the sofa with a furry friend.

I'm quite a practical person in that I enjoy making and fixing things. Whilst I have no qualifications in anything like this (I have a BA in acting) I studied textiles at school and like the creative side.

Was noch ...

I think I've mentioned a lot of things already. I love the outdoors, be it hikes in the lakes and mountains, adrenaline sports or walks with my dad. These are the best yet such simple days, there's so much to see and learn and understand.

I also really enjoy the arts. I danced at a young age then moved over to the theatre side and have a degree in acting. Whilst I didn't proceed with it as a career I love going to the theatre, be it musicals, straight plays, comedy I love it all. I also really enjoy live music - particularly country. I'm so pleased this is becoming more accessible in the UK now!

I love a good road trip with friends, driving, exploring, camping, camp fires, star gazing. What a great way to spend days and make memories.
