Beschreibung

A couple from Wales with a shared love for travel, exploring, being connected to nature and learning about different cultures. Maddie has recently completed a Masters degree in Environmental Psychology, and is wanting to continue developing skills and knowledge about the interactions between people and the environment. Ben is a BEng, MSc Civil Engineer, and after 7 years with his company is having a well-deserved career break, with the aim to incorporate more sustainable practices within his profession. Together, we want to spend some time travelling whilst nurturing our interests, collecting skills and knowledge to take away and put towards our future life.

We have recently arrived back in the UK after 6 months of travel around Australia and some of South East Asia. During our time in Australia we were involved in two, 2-week workaways, which we absolutely loved and learnt a lot from. In Tasmania we lived as part of a small community, helping in the building of sustainable structures, primarily using Cob. We also helped with with gardening, landscaping and permaculture. Each morning started with yoga and meditation which we found very enriching, and based off these experiences we are really eager to get involved in some more exciting workaway opportunities.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Ben:
BEng, MSc Civil Engineer, with 7 years experience including working onsite, painting/decorating, problem solving, dog owner, very hands on and resourceful, practical minded and can pick things up quickly

Maddie:
BSc Psychology with Sociology, MSc Environmental Psychology, arts in health, collaborative work, plant lover (and would like to garden more, particularly growing food), has a big family so is good with kids

Shared:
Cooking, crafts and creation, hiking, music
