Hey there !

I'am Anouk, I'm 22 years old and I live in France.

I'm currently studying psychology but I absolutely want to develop new skills about sustainable living, such as eco building, gardening (permaculture), and animal care. Indeed, my deepest dream is to create an eco-community in order to live in harmony with everyone, with nature and, furthermore, to be able to rescue all type of animals.
At the meantime, travelling, discovering new places and moreover, discovering new persons is my biggest passion. That's why I'm on workaway : it's a wonderful opportunity to get to learn new things while travelling and connecting with new people.
I've already travelled alone for 6 months in New Zealand, and it was a true revelation. I crave new adventure, and I can't wait to travel again !

In addition, I would describe myself as a very cheerful, enthousiastic and curious person. I have a passion for roller skate, sustainable living, nature, music, cinema and animals.
Besides, I'm not a very demanding or picky person : I absolutely don't need to live in a really comfy place as long as I have the minimum, I'll be happy with it and enjoy my experience abroad ! :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I did a two weeks permaculture traineeship in a ecovillage so I have a couple gardening skills that I would love to improve if possible !

When I was in uni or even at home, I used to cook for everyone ! I'm not a pro but I'd say that I'm a great amateur, I love to cook and I do it well, but I'd also love to improve my skills ! (I'm a vegetarian).

I'm a great cleaner and I absolutely don't mind doing this, it's strangely satisfying ! So I can do the cleaning, the laundry, or tide the places if it's needed.

I grew up with two twin little brothers that I used to babysit very often. I always had an excellent contact with children and I love spending time with them, so I guess I could be a very good babysitter !

Moreover, I'm a huge animal lover. I lived all my life with cats, I'm a happy dog sitter and I spend a lot of years doing horse riding, so I kinda know my way around animals. I'm not a professional, but I love spending time with them and I'm able to help taking care of them (in fact, I would be delighted to do that !!)

Finally, as my first language is French, I can totally help you with that if you want to acquire some French skills. It can also be helpful if I need to work in a hostel, a guesthouse or a restaurant to communicate with potential guests or customers !
