I'm so excited to travel Mexico because of the stunning nature, amazing food and the wonderful culture. I seek for community, sustainable projects and lots of nature, especially the ocean.

Hola,

I'm Annemarie and I'm here to seek for new adventures and encounters. Right now, I am in Mexico (Mexico City) and I am going to travel to the beautiful state of Oaxaca to be close to the Pacific again. If I ever get away from Mexico I would love to explore Guatemala in spring.

My happy days are filled with Yoga in the morning, sunshine in my face, cooking and enjoying a fantastic, plant-based meal, staying outside (additionally being close to the ocean), being in contact with myself and my enviroment, having conversations about everything or nothing, sometimes a cool beer and of course, a little bit dancing.

I studied biology but I found out that I can't stay in the lab all day and Germany gets a bit too cold, so I search for fulfillment in nature and travelling . So far it's going well and I spent the last months observing whales or working in snowy mountains. My next big destination will be Latin America. So, I can't wait to dive into new cultures, meet interesting people from around the world and learn new skills and things! I don't only want to travel and jumping from one hostel to another, I want to support people and give something back, fill my travels with more meaning, share knowledge and find new ideas and inspiration. I would love to learn more about sustainability and how to connect better with nature. I want to experience community life and contribute in projects.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am eager to do and learn a lot of things, I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty. I'm good in gardening and caring about plants, I love (and am good in) cooking and baking. Due to my Yoga experience I like to give classes and share. I worked a lot in hospitality and with tourists, so I always enjoyed to care about guests and host people. And I love animals and animals usually like me as well. I'm better in handicraft than in handiwork, because I'm not good in carrying heavy things due to weak arms.

The world of volunteering is bigger than workaway, so during my travels I've already volunteered in communities, hostels or yoga retreats. I managed guesthouses or worked as a tour guide.
