Hi there!
I’m Anett from Hungary, eager to immerse myself in new cultures, meet inspiring people, and contribute to the life of communities in meaningful ways. For the past two years, I’ve been working as an event organizer for a human rights organization, a role that has taught me a lot about collaboration and creating impactful experiences.
Recently, I’ve realized that life in Budapest has become a bit too comfortable, and it’s time to shake things up! I’m ready to travel, explore, and step out of my comfort zone. I’d describe myself as easy-going, cheerful, friendly, and always ready to lend a hand.
I’ve grown up around animals—my dog (who, sadly, isn’t joining me on my travels!) and over a decade of horseback riding have made them a natural part of my life. I also love working with wood. Although I’m still learning, I’m enthusiastic about participating in construction projects and improving my skills. Gardening, sustainability, and exploring the tools of a self-sufficient lifestyle are also high on my list of interests. Taking care of myself and those around me while living in harmony with nature is a way of life I deeply admire.
Nature is my sanctuary—it helps me ground myself and find balance amid life’s everyday challenges. I’m also passionate about social issues and believe that building supportive, close-knit communities is key to addressing many of the problems we face as humanity.
Back in 2018, I experienced my first Workaway adventure in Italy, staying on a farm, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Now, I’m ready to dive into new adventures, embrace challenges, and learn everything this journey has to offer.
