Hi!
I'm a 51 year old, married woman from Brazil, with two sons and a daughter, all young adults. My passion is our countryside site, where i have all kinds of plants, fruits, vegetables, trees, over there I'm the one who does all the outdoor work, like taking care of the gardening, doing all the harvesting, pruning and I'm currently learning all the grafting techniques, especially roses. With the fruits that I harvest I also like to make jams, preserves and compotes. My other passions are my family, learning languages and new cultures. My mother tongue is Portuguese, but, I speak in a basic level English, French and Italian. Since my Great-grandparents came from Italy, I have Italian citizenship and their culture is very present in our household, we really enjoy our pasta and even make our own wine :). I'm a very adventurous and active person, me and my friends created a group with the main goal of riding in our ATVs in the countryside, but never doing risky things. I also play volleyball three times a week. I love nature and exploring new cities. I'm not a good person with technologies. I love cooking for my family and I'm happy in exchanging recipes and learning new kitchen skills. I'm a very relaxed and calm person, patient in learning and teaching. I hope I can contribute in a positive way with the hosts I'll be staying with.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have experience with gardening, growing and harvesting fruits and vegetables, and all outdoor related things. I'm very patient, so I'm good at taking care of children. I can also help teaching my native language, Portuguese. Another of my skills is cooking, I'm very good at making homemade food.

Was noch ...

My passion with other cultures started in 2006 when me and my family hosted an american exchange student for a year. Since then, we've hosted an Italian girl also for a Year in 2017, and have hosted for a shorter period of time people from all over the world. One of my sons and my daughter also were away for a year in exchange programs during their high school, one in Germany and the other one in Belgium. Now is my turn to have this amazing experience.
Another thing I love as a hobby is doing art, painting, drawing, and repurposing objects.
