Hello everyone! I am new to workaway, but I am excited to use this opportunity to learn more about the world in which we live. I am generally quiet and a bit shy. I'm more of a homebody than someone who likes to go out and party because my hobbies include: video games, cooking, reading and learning. I am currently visiting Finland and trying to learn the language and culture here. I have done some university, but took a break to pursue a career in the kitchen and obtain a diploma in the culinary arts. I have spent two and half years cooking at a private hotel in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area in Texas. If Finland truly becomes somewhere I want to live, I desire to study a food science degree here. I also love metal music and cats!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I grew up moving across the country many times with my family so I have experience with things that relate to cleaning, organizing, packing, and painting or other small renovations. My main asset is that I have graduated culinary school and cook professionally! I am experienced in high-stress, fast paced environments from my job where I manage my station and have to organize my time and solve problems efficiently. I believe I have good listening and interpersonal skills.
