Hola! :))
Soy Andrea, soy de Bari (sur de Italia) pero actualmente vivo y estudio en Bolonia y tengo 24 años.

Estoy estudiando Antropología Cultural en la universidad y esto puede resumir mis mayores intereses y pasiones.

En realidad mi formación empezó con una licenciatura en Ingeniería, pero durante esos años me di cuenta de que lo que estaba estudiando no me importaba.
Así que, después de esta licenciatura empecé a viajar, a hacer voluntariado y a profundizar en algunos temas, algunos de los cuales había ignorado en la universidad, mientras que otros eran completamente nuevos.
Empecé a acercarme seriamente a todas las cuestiones relacionadas con el cambio climático y esto se convirtió pronto en una prioridad para mí.
Después empecé a explorar las religiones y filosofías orientales, como el budismo y el taoísmo, y las culturas y sociedades nativas americanas, especialmente de América del Sur y Central.

Me atraía el fuerte énfasis en el equilibrio mental y la salud de las culturas asiáticas, pero sobre todo la relación con el ambiente de las sociedades nativas americanas.
Esto me llevó a explorar más sobre estas poblaciones y, mes tras mes, empecé a preocuparme de verdad por los problemas humanitarios y ambientales de las comunidades nativas de América Central y del Sur: derechos sobre la tierra, extracciones ilegales y deforestación, asimilación a través de la anulación de su identidad y sus culturas.
En este tiempo, descubrí que la carrera universitaria de Antropología Cultural reunía todos estos temas y me lancé a ello.
Ahora estoy muy contento de este nuevo camino y lo que estoy estudiando me enriquece día a día.

Mi objetivo en la vida ahora es trabajar junto a los pueblos nativos americanos para hacer valer sus derechos.

Hablo inglés con fluidez y sé español intermedio, aún lo estoy aprendiendo.

También me gusta la fotografía: tengo cámara analógica y digital pero aún estoy estudiando y aprendiendo. Sin embargo, he empezado a participar en mis primeros talleres y clases.

Una de las experiencias más fuertes que he vivido es el Camino de Santiago. Hay muchas cosas que decir al respecto, pero una de las más importantes es que realmente quiero volver a sentir ese tipo de conexiones entre la gente mientras viajo: Me encanta sentir la generosidad, el altruismo y la empatía entre desconocidos y, a partir de esta situación, construir una amistad fuerte y pura. Por eso me encanta hacer voluntariado.

Hi! :))
I'm Andrea, I'm from Bari (southern Italy) but currently I live and study in Bologna and I'm 24.

I'm studying Cultural Anthropology at university and this can sum up my biggest interests and passions.

Actually my education path starts with a degree in Engineering but during those years I figured out that I didn't really care about what I was studying.
So after this degree I started to travel, to volunteer and to dig deeper into some topics, some of which I had ignored for university while others were completely new.
I started to approach seriously all the issues connected with climate change and this became soon a priority for me.
After that, I began to explore eastern religions and philosophies, such as Buddhism and Taoism, and native American cultures and societies, especially from south and central America.

I was attracted by the strong focus on mental balance and health of the Asian cultures but mostly by the relationship with the environment of the native American societies.
This took me to explore more about this populations and, month after month, I started to really care about humanitarian and environmental issues in native communities of central and south america: land rights, illegal extractions and deforestation, assimilation through the cancellation of their identity and their cultures.
In this time, I discovered the university degree in Cultural Anthropology put together all these topics and I jumped into it.
Now I'm really happy of this new path and what I'm studying is enriching me day after day.

My life goal now is to work alongside native american peoples to enforce their rights.

I speak fluently English and I know intermediate Spanish, I'm still learning it.

I also like photography: I've both analog and digital camera but I'm still studying and learning. However, I've started to take part of my first workshops and lessons.

One of the strongest experiences I've ever had is the Camino di Santiago. There are a lot of things to say about that but one of the most important is that I really want to feel again that kind of connections between people while I'm travelling: I love feeling generosity, altruism and empathy between strangers and, from this situation, building a strong and pure friendship. That's why I love doing volunteering.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I've started a master about digital marketing. I'm at the beginning of the course but I've already done some projects about copywriting and video editing.
I'm studying photography as a self-taught and I'm practising every day and during my trips using both digital and analog camera: I love it and I want to improve my skills to reach a professional level (hopefully :) ). Moreover, a few months ago I've started to study video-editing to create some videos on my travel experiences.
I'm also the cook in my family and I would like to share recipes of italian culture!
I would love to learn new abilities about gardening, farming or other fields to help the hosts to do their works!
I lived alone for 2 years, so I'm able to do house work and to take care of general maintenance of an house, like cleaning and cooking: I'm a responsible guy :)
