Hi, we're two Italian and French friends, Pietro and Anatole; we met last year in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We would like to do workaway to continue travelling together and share good memories. We'd like to travel around Ireland because we both love nature and green landscapes; we also like the Irish culture, we believe it is lively and rhythmic, but also simple and without fuss - maybe a bit like us. We would like to get to know the Irish culture more.
Pietro is the thoughtful and calm element of the two. He is soft-spoken and dreamy by nature, he has a heart for helping and listening to others (that's Anatole speaking). A native of Turin, he likes to live quietly, savouring the simple pleasures and good things in life. He's Italian, from the north of Italy, and he loves wandering the streets of his city, going to the market at Porta Palazzo, for example. He's currently studying anthropology at Turin's public university, which he loves. What else can I say about my friend Pietro? He's a keen rock climber, a sport that suits him perfectly. He loves spending time at the pub to chat with his friends and meet new people. He also loves reading, going to the cinema and spending time at his country house near Turin. So Pietro likes to enjoy life by sharing a good beer, for example, but prefers comfortable, family-friendly places, away from the constant hubbub.
As for me, I come from Saint-Etienne, a popular but friendly town in the south of France, near Lyon, where I'm currently studying Political Science. Compared to Pietro, I'd say I'm more restless, I like to talk a lot and, above all, I laugh a lot. Like Pietro, I also like nature very much. I also like to spend time at my country house, going for walks, cycling and helping my family with gardening and DIY. I've done a lot of swimming and orienteering and I enjoy playing tennis with my friends for fun. I also love the cinema, a passion that Pietro and I shared in Buenos Aires; we often went to a very beautiful cinema there. I like to party and get together with my friends, but always in a friendly atmosphere. What else would you like to know? I listen to a lot of music, a lot of French variety and trap, and I also really like English rock. I've already done two voluntary work placements in England, in the Lake District and Lincolnshire, restoring locks and dry stone walls. During these experiences I really liked the Anglo-Saxon culture.
We are therefore two friends, with a friendly and complementary nature, who will be delighted to share their respective languages and cultures with you. We also enjoy working, especially outdoors, and will be happy to help you with any tasks you may require us to do. We look forward to meeting you.

Was könntest du arbeiten?
We are two friends full of energies; we spent some time in the countryside and we know how to use some of the basic tools. We enjoy working outside, cutting grass and planting. We also have done some painting in the past and DIY. We are not super experts, but we are very keen to learn and we are good workers.
In the past, we have worked as waiters. We study Political Science and Antropology, and we enjoy talking and learning about new cultures.
We met in Buenos Aires, and from the first moment we decided to talk in Spanish between us; we would enjoy sharing our cultures and if you like, some Spanish :)
